We went here with a local friend at 11:45 am on a Tuesday. There is free parking for the restaurant inside a fence behind the closer metered parking. When we entered the restaurant, we were told to sit where we wanted. There were many people in the dining room, and my friend walks through the dining room and a doorway into a second dining room where we were alone for most of our meal. The waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful. The menu has great prices and a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches and meals. We all liked our meals that were delivered fairly quick. My friend got the French Toast with sausage patties and fresh fruit. I had a Greek Omelet (with feta and spinach), grits and dark rye Toast. (pictured)Also ordered was the Reuben served with fries and Cole slaw.(pictured) I added salt and real butter to my grits to my liking and ate all my food.
With my wife went for breakfast and it was really good and tasty! Service was very good! We’ll return for sure!

We just left this restaurant after being turned away immediately by the manager because we had a service dog with us. Our dog had her service harness on but this lady said they only will allow trained service animals in. I began to start an explanation of which she has no intention of hearing. It is totally illegal what she did but we also are not going to begin a battle with restaurant staff at a place we would like Have eaten at. How can you trust what you would be served if you have alienated the staff? We will never know as we will never return to this restaurant. It’s their loss as we are new locals and would have maybe added to their customer base. This is the most negative post I have ever made. establishments appreciate the good reviews I give. This place will not benefit from that.
I used to get a grilled Swiss cheese sandwich and a chocolate shake after picking up all the golf balls at the nearby driving range (first job after graduating from Cardinal Gibbons High School in 1965). Great food and service !
Stop in for a fast breakfast sat at the counter with another Guest. Took 5 minutes to get my order. After placing my order it took 30 minutes to get my eggs and sausage. I come here often! They can not say it was because of spring break i dont know what the issue is. I placeda to go order and when she delivered my food she stated she would place my to go order now. Lol i have somewhere to be. I do know as a local I will not be back here again.
It’s been around for 65 years for a reason. Great breakfast. The hash browns were a little soggy but they have Kielbasa sausage and it was fantastic. Great prices, quick service, and a friendly atmosphere.
Gets busy for breakfast. Free parking. Good service. I had ham, eggs, toast. This restaurant is an institution by now. Locals flock to it.
