I had a great time! The instructors/hosts were so nice and fun! Great atmosphere and really delicious cocktails. I had the guava margarita and it was so good! Definitely would recommend to friends!
Great staff, lots of fun.The locale has four axe-throwing cages where you can spend up to 70 min competing. If you come with a large group, you will be competing each other and if you don't you will get to meet other fun people as you will be put together in the same cage to compete. We had a great time. You may have to wait for a cage to be available, but you can have drinks and food at the bar and watch other people throw axes and compete while you wait. You will be assigned a host that will teach you the basics of axe throwing, go over safety, and run the games. The staff is fantastic, super friendly and fun. The pricing for the use of the cage, food, and drinks is very reasonable. They have music but you are able to have conversation at normal volume. It is a smoke free establishment, which I appreciate. There are no public parking lots nearby, so you must park at the spaces available in the street directly across from the bar or around the block.
If you want to go axe throwing, make sure you go to Chops + Hops. Hands down the coolest axe throwing place. I have gone a few times and it never disappoints. It’s my go-to axe throwing place. If you try it, I’m sure it’ll become yours too.Unless your group consists of 8 people, you’ll be paired with new people. This is honestly the best part because it makes the experience so much more entertaining and competitive!The bartenders make really great drinks. I usually get a strawberry margarita and it’s amazing! Highly recommend getting a drink while you play.After you are done axe throwing, you can hang out in the patio. My favorite spot is thee swing, but they have lots of chairs and tables where you can hang out and play games.Last night it was raining, so we stayed indoors. We made friends with our entire team and stayed afterward playing Jenga.Great place for date night, hanging out with friends and/or meeting new people!
Super fun and can get a bit competitive with friends. Matt and the rest of the staff were great. I would definitely recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.
An amazing experience as always! Dino was an amazing axe throwing coach! Knowledgeable and experienced!! All the staff was phenomenal. The bar manager made sure to accommodate us when our time was messed up due to our last minute booking.

What a blast! If you’re looking for something FUN and different to do you must check this place out! We went around 7pm this past Saturday. There were 9 of us so we had our own bay with two target boards. There was plenty of seating and the drinks were on point!! We were celebrating two birthdays so I have to say DAKOTA made our night!! He was our host on Saturday. He ran different games for us and kept score which was great considering it’s hard to do that with a large group (especially while drinking lol). Everyone one there was professional and fun! They are also very safe. The live band was great! We would have liked to enjoy the outdoor patio with more games but it was raining. We will definitely be going back!!
This place was SO FUN! It's reasonably priced. I took my mother for mother's day and it was $50 for a 70 minute session. An Axepert is in the cage with you at all times for safety. They even spend the first 10 minutes teaching you proper technique. Then, you play games against other teams- it gets competive! The drinks on the menu were SO good! Cocktails and Axe throwing? I'm in! I will definitely be back! Everyone was so kind and the place had a great vibe all around.
