The fish is stank and smell real bad it’s not even cook never ordering here again ????
They claim to be a Haitian restaurant but act like they don't speak creole. The menus are confusing and their prices are ridiculously high
I grew up on the old CeciBon from years ago.... I wanted to order but these reviews has me hesitant....M&S Best Tropical is goooood but I really wanted to try CeciBon.....Best Tropical It is???♀️
I love their fried chicken with the fried plantains. It's just enough to feed my boys without spending too much
This place is the worst Haitian food in Fort Lauderdale, as a Haitian who knows Haitian who eat almost in every restaurant in Miami and west palm Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, the sauce is wateryyyyy, the chicken had its skins intact, no vinegar , the rice is uncooked. After eating the food I was bloated all night . Absolutely horrible nasty as ever, don’t order there.
Love the food. They just need more help with the phone and in store ordering.
The only thing I get there is the chicken and plantains but if you want real Haitian food not the best place. The girl on the register is so rude called multiple time and I would ask her how she doing she wouldn’t even acknowledge that I greeted her she would just say yes how can I help you ??♀️ The only reason I kept going back there’s not a lot of options in the area but I’m taking my money somewhere else.
Why would anyone even go to the popeyes next door... best pickliz in town and good 10 pc fried chicken special...yum
The place has good food. No arguing against that. I’ve tried different Haitian restaurants in certain areas of broward and find myself being a repeated customer. I always get the legume cause it’s addictive. My ex always gets the griot which he says is seasoned well. The service can be slow sometimes. The ladies in the front are welcoming and nice overall. I usually call and order ahead of time and my order is always ready upon arrival. If you walk in to order you will be waiting 15-20 min for your meal. Its worth the wait though. The place looks clean but needs some updating and repairs.
I will continue to support this restaurant no doubt about it because I do like the food. Now, my issue is; they continuously forgetting an item or two when I place an order (through DoorDash), and sometimes I call the store the phone rang and they are unavailable, or my order is already completed I can’t ask them to send someone out just for a side, or a drink/desert etc. I am disappointed especially when they forget to include my Cola Couronne, or my slice of velvet cake because these items remind me so much of home sweet home (lakay se lakay). Today I decided to call up the store to claim my missed drink from previous orders after placing an order through the DoorDash app, Ms Ruby told me she was unable to rectify the situation, and she was rushing off the phone by letting me know that she was too busy and she couldn’t talk to me that I would need to call back, then I replied if you are unable to talk to me, please let me talk to the manager of the store. Her response was he is not here right now, then I ask for the manager’ name, then she replied;”he doesn’t like to give his name to customers, that I will need to call back”. I had no choice but to thank her and confirmed that I will be sure to call back later. To me at least that’s not good customer service, so sorry.
