Traveling through the brand new JetBlue Terminal 3 here at Ft Lauderdale Airport, we came across this spacious and clean Cuban restaurant where you can be served by waiters or orders for takeout if you're in a rush. They have a varied menu of entrees with fish, chicken or steak, various sandwiches including this tasty Cuban below, and traditional appetizers too (we had the black bean soup, served with Cuban salsa and sour cream-it was quite good too, deserts and coffee, although the expresso machine was down, so that was my only disappointment. Otherwise, the cost was reasonable for the quality of food, and the service was courteous and friendly. Check it out! Recommended.

I’m pretty sure there were 2 people working the restaurant area. The food was less than average. There wasn’t anything good. Several items on the menu weren’t available. It took forever to get seated and order. Because there were 2 people working the full restaurant area. I ordered chicken something with rice and beans and fried plantains. Chicken wasn’t bad, rice and beans may have been from the day before. Plantains were ok. My son settled for a chicken Cesar which he normally loves and didn’t finish this one. It was just zero effort food. Not good, wouldn’t recommend. Go to Burger King.

I liked their comfy benches, the fact that the radio was not super loud, and that the server was quite nice (a young man). The salad we ordered was fine, and the plantains well prepared. When it came to the black beans soup, it was really an order of black beans in a bowl, and they made me ill. By the time I reached my gate, I had fever and cramps. I was lying on the floor waiting for my flight and in pain the whole way home on the plane. I've been sick for two days because I ate there.

I frequent this restaurant weekly with groups as we have connections in Fort Lauderdale Airport. We are normally on early morning connections so this is a great place to get good food on the go.Unfortunately, there appears to be a new staff member on the morning shift, young African American girl with long box braids. Her customer service today was awful. A few members of my group asked what a particular dessert item was as there was not a label to identify it.Instead of telling them what it was, her response was for them to read the menu because EVERYTHING is on the menu. I then brought to her attention that they still would not know what the item is because there aren't labels in front of the dessert. She didn't realuze that I was with the group and proceeded to tell me to mind my business and how she was not talking to me. Her attitude was below professional, her response was inappropriate, and her customer service lacked greatly.I then proceeded to place my order and she refused to serve me by calling on the customer in back of me. One of the other employees had to leave the task she was working on to place my order.I asked her if she thought she was providing good customer service and her response was that it is too early in the morning and she didn't care. That was more than obvious.I woud highly suggest that this young lady be offered additional training, cultural sensitivity (not making assumptions that everyone can read or is familiar with Cuban food), along with professional development support. As a Travel Specialist in the service industry, it is my duty to introduce my clients to pleasent experiences and to bring them to places I highly recommend. After today's encounter I am not sure I would subject my clients or myself to such disrespectful treatment if this young lady is working.

Breakfast was cold.Powdered eggs were cold.Croquetas were soggy.Coffee wasn't fresh.Dust and dirt everywhere.Bad even by airport standards.

The food was very, very disappointing for me seeing that this is “Cuban” restaurant. Breakfast menu was very limited. Fake eggs, sausage tasted very generic. The menu said the breakfast came with home fries but instead came with regular fries from the lunch menu which were cold. The café con leche was okay. Server was very attentive but it’s a no for me.

Food is good with excellent prices for it being located in an airport. The only reason I did mot give it 5 stars is because at checkout you cannot use your credit card unless you leave an obligatory tip. So I paid cash. Isnt that practice illegal???

This place has real good food. You'll love it. Chicken soup, beef and rice and beans, tostonas, and more. I really enjoyed the Cuban inspired food here. Place has plenty of seating to stay and eat. Staff is courteous. You're going to love the prices, they're extremely reasonable. Some airports overcharge you for food but this place is not like that. I'd eat here every trip. It's real food, not processed stuff. Be aware they do add and include gratuity in your bill.

Line was really long. They should opens to registers. I have stopped here several times and each time the same, I'm in line for at least 20 minutes. But the spinach empanada was excellent.

We stay in Fiesta Americana resort. People's is very polite and well trained. This resort include all you can eat and drink in a package. Great experience. Extra The TV is so poor signal and pictures. only few English channel. I guess they want you to enjoy the beautiful sight and weather.
