Nice hidden gem! The staff are knowledgeable about everything coffee and the fresh batches I bought was a big hit in the house. This will be my go-to coffee place for grabbing a cup or buying beans going forward. Highly recommended
What an absolutely special place to have here in Fort Lauderdale. The coffee is amazing and Luis’ knowledge is just remarkable. He is so willing to share all that he knows about coffee and how to make it taste the best! I love coming here and I’ve already bought a bag of their beans and gotten an amazing Cold Brew using their Colombian beans and an iced pour over using their Kenyan beans. I can’t wait to come back many more times!!
Fabulous place! Louis was very friendly and helpful. The beans are excellent, the cappuccinos are flawless, and the decor is very cute/funky. No more Starbucks for me in Pompano Beach, ever. Support locals! ?
As a former barista, I genuinely appreciate he doesn’t do large batches of drip coffee - that’s gross, regardless of the quality. I’ve been in Miami for 3 days looking for a coffee shop that doesn’t burn their drip (insanely difficult to find) and has an area where I could plop down and get some work done. Today, I found it. This is the best Americano I’ve had traveling across 10 states in the last month. I am actually geeking out I’m so happy I found this place!!!- Calusa Coffee’s newest regular
Excellent customer service! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Great at explaining their different coffee blends for a newbie like me. Great atmosphere and perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy some great coffee and bakery goods. Definitely a place to check out!
This is an unsuspecting little gem. I truly appreciate a great cup of coffee and they definitely fulfill that. They have coffee from different countries and depending on who the barista is, determines from where your beans will be from. The people who come here are definitely regulars and have a great rapport with the staff. They close at 2 so be sure to grab your Java before then. Highly recommended.
I am a little sad about this review. This is easily the best coffee shop I've been to in Florida, and I've been to quite a few. Problem is, I live over 200 miles from here. The coffee was excellent, the cheese danish and pumpkin bread were fantastic, but what really did it for me was the staff. The man, who I assume was the owner, immediately guessed that it was our first time there, and as we sat and enjoyed our coffee, I came to understand why. He knew every single person who walked in; there were no fewer than twelve people who came in while we were there, and he was asking them about tests, first dates, back injuries, all unprompted. Places like this are rare; might just be worth another 200-mile trip.
Calusa has the best coffee! I’ve had their pour over and macchiato, both are phenomenal! I firmly support local small businesses and this shop is one I would recommend. Cheers!

Had a quick morning coffee break at this hidden gem. Great vibes and staff was very friendly. The coffee was great! The parking was free, the place is clean and with great decorations. Recommend it!
