I’m normally a relaxed guy but who enjoys travelling and trying different foods and venues, but these guys are BAD! I visited with my wife and three daughters and ordered the “Special” which had no price. My wife enquired what the price was, but received no answer, as the waiter was busy telling us how great the menu was. When we got the bill, we paid $60 EACH, $120 for cheap steak and loads of fries. Please don’t be sucked in as we were. These guys are all about ripping of tourists, which is a real shame. As an aside, I was pretty disappointed with the price we paid, I accidentally put the pen in my pocket after I had signed the credit card bill, and got chased down the street for the pen!!! In believable! On the plus side, we taught our daughters a valuable lesson to make sure they trust no one, and always understand what they are paying for! Also, the location is quite nice.

The menu advertises meat as vegetarian dishes. We ordered Arancini, advertised as a vegetarian dish. When it was brought out, I checked with the waiter that it didn’t have meat in it, as when I cut into it, it definitely looked like it did. He assured us several times that it didn’t. We hesitantly started to eat it, until the waiter rushed back over in a panic to tell us it contained meat. Not so sure they should be serving the food if they don’t know what’s in it, and they certainly shouldn’t be advertising it as a vegetarian dish. We reluctantly replaced the dish with the caprese bruschetta, which was overloaded with balsamic vinegar and therefore too acidic to have a pleasant taste. All this and then they force a 18% gratuity on you when they bring the bill!

Chic outdoor/indoor restaurant on the main beach strip in Fort Lauderdale. Sat outdoors, service was quick, as it was in between lunch and dinner, no wait.Food was typical restaurant food, and dined on salads, burgers and wings to just hold us over.*Menu attached. They have a ice cream/sorbet shop attached to the restaurant.1 star taken as some areas on the ground could’ve been swept/clean, as it invited a small amount of birds/flies under the outdoor seating.

The food is amazing and the drinks are delicious. The waiters and hosts are all super friendly and bilingual! It’s right by the beach and they have live music! Sammy and Francine were especially efficient and very knowledgeable. They have fresh sea food and filet mignon sold at market price, and their filet mignon skewers are worthy though expensive. The only thing I would change is that the bill already includes gratuity automatically when it’s a table with 6 or more people so you have to be aware if you don’t wish to tip twice (although they deserve it) or if you drank too much because some drinks are “fish tank size” and just tip while signing automatically like me! Lol I recommend it!

I remember going to cafe Del Mar when it was in their old spot. It had been a long time since I’d been there. I accidentally went and ate at the old location with the new name a couple weeks prior. Found out they moved up the street. The food here was all amazing. We enjoyed it much more than the place that took over the old location. We had octopus, ceviche and mussels. All were delicious. Definitely go check out their new location. The food is great and can beat the view. A++++ fantastic

Toasting to the end of the long weekendThe French toast at @cafedelmarfll is yummy! My parents practically live here - right in Fort Lauderdale beach with the sand and ocean across the street. They have a good brunch menu options from their bakery, omelettes (the veggie one in pic two), avocado toast, and a few other small bites. Their lunch and dinner menus are great too

When asking for Bill if younpay with Credit card make sure they chsrge infront of you. They used my c card 1 week after being there !

The only reason this restaurant is busy is the perfect location next to the Marriott Hotel and across for the beach. If you like burnt bacon, rubbery pancakes and a "veggie less" omelet that are all over priced then go here to waste your money. We've tried the place twice on two different trips when staying at the Marriott and both times awful. This time I decided to warn others it's a rip off for breakfast.

They accommodated both a omnivore and the vegan gluten-free. Moe was our waiter… he was amazing, he knew his products, served us promptly, accommodated our requests, over the top service! The view is absolutely stunning! We had breakfast with the ocean & palm trees sitting outside in the breeze… we would repeat this again!

I Have lived in Fort Lauderdale/South Florida for over 40 years. This restaurant has been around for a while under different names. The foods pretty average but be careful about the specials. We were there a couple nights ago and the waiter told us about a whole fish special. We asked how much it was he said “only $60.“ He the elaborated “but it comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It’s a lot of food.“ All I can say is, there are better places… Much much better places in Fort Lauderdale to dine. There’s also some very very nice restaurants right on the beach steps away from this one. Govern yourself accordingly.
