They easily accommodated our group of 16. Sat us in their outdoor eating area and even though it was hot out they are cooling the area with fans and mist. The view was awesome too. Food was good and the staff was friendly. Do call ahead 2 hours though to let them know of a large group. Cool gift shop attached.
Bubba Gump food was tasty with a different flare. Especially the hush puppies with corn and fish inside was a surprise. My wife enjoyed the entire Forrest seafood platter. Thanks for making our vacation delicious ?
Had an ok dinner. I guess you go there just because of the name. Average drinks and average service. Nothing special.
We visit Bubba Gumps everytime we are in Ft Lauderdale. The manager Dasha is always welcoming and her staff is friendly and attentive. Our server Keith was great and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable time. We are members of Landry Select Club and at this time you can order a Backyard BBQ dinner if you are a member. It includes ribs, macaroni and cheese, a seafood boil with crab legs, shrimp, andouli sausage, potatoes corn. Also comes with garlic toast. There is enough food on it for at least 4 people or to have plenty of leftovers if you prefer. A definite place to check out if you're in the area
Went for a family dinner on vacation with our kids. This is the worst bubba gumps I’ve ever been to. Should have guessed it would be terrible from how dead it was. Food was awful.. definitely ate frozen seafood right next to the ocean. Calamari was the worst I’ve ever had. I don’t drink and the waiter mixed up mine and my husbands drinks and I accidentally drank his margarita thinking it was my mocktail. Never got my daughters fruit with her kids meal. Just a run down dirty place with bad food, Las Olas area has MUCH better options.
Absolutely delicious food, super friendly service, yummy drinks and great decor ! Whether you’ve seen the movie or not, you’ll definitely enjoy eating here, especially if you are a shrimp lover.You get to keep the cups from some of the drinks, which are not too overpriced.Nice little water fountain and refreshing mist on the terrace, very pleasant.They were also accommodating of a gluten allergy.
First time eating here and it didn't disappoint. Lots of variety of food. And location was excellent with a waterfall out by the outdoor dining. Great view of the ocean as well. Prices are average for seafood.
What happened to this place? I frequented this place for a long time and loved it. I stopped going during the pandemic and now, I'm back for the third time. If they care, they've lost me as a customer and other people with me. The menu was very limited. Bad service, drinks take a long time to arrive at the table and the food takes a long time too. That's because there were few people at the tables. The indoor environment is too hot not to say unbearable. That doesn't go very far. It was good years ago. I took friends with me and I was embarrassed. The pasta was undercooked and the other foods were very oily. Conclusion: we paid too much and ate too badly. It is definitely a place that I have fond memories , but we will not be returning . They must have cut funds, changed the kitchen staff or are with another administration. It's a shame this is happening. I know what I'm talking about and I've seen the decay.
Really friendly service.l with some great recommendations. It might take some time to get in but it's worth it - I had the shrimp scampi which was amazing with a lobster butter sauce. Other favorites were the ribs and seafood combos. Lots of Forrest Gump stuff !
Great food, service was ok. Our server was nice and we asked us some trivia questions about the forest gump Movie but then didn’t refill our drinks. That is why I gave it a four star. It was not busy.
