As a Brooklyn guy who just moved here I am thrilled to have found this place.. great texture and taste of the bagels but I'm especially happy they make the Russian onion pumpernickel bagel which just brings me back to New York with every bite... Go here for your bagels black and white cookies and more you will not be disappointed !
The worst!! Went here today for the first time. I was excited since I’m from Jersey and love s good bagel. I ordered the Jersey Boy bagel and egg sandwich with Taylor ham. Well, I slice of Taylor ham between 2 halves of a bagel with a microwaved egg and cheese. The bagel was very doughy with no crust. Horrible and not Taylor ham. It’s a thin slice of deli ham thrown on the bottom of the bagel. I also ordered 6 bagels which I put in the freezer. I’m too disappointed in the sandwich and don’t want 2 bad bagels in one day. I guess it’s back to Einstein Bagels.
Awesome food, awesome service, and the ice coffee is just too good!
Ice coffee is fantastic but I prefer my Montreal bagels. Service was quick and place is clean. Good choice for a quick breakfast sandwich
Eat here very often the bagels are really good. The bagels are daily made and you can actually see them making them through a window. Always super busy here. I recommend ordering ahead of time but still eating there it's always a great option.
Best local bagel spot I have found to date. Large selection of bagels, bagel sandwiches and spreads. Definitely on par with real NY bagels. The “Williamsburg” Nova lox sandwich is excellent. The Cubsta iced coffee with iced coffee cubes to prevent dilution is pretty genius. Service is extremely fast, I typically order through UberEats for pickup and 90% of the time my order is ready in less than 10 minutes, but counter service is quick too. Prices are reasonable.
I use to love Brooklyn Water Bagel. I would order at least once a week. Recently, I’m not sure if they changed owners or management, but the food is terrible now. Also, I keep getting expired creamer with my iced coffee. I have called the restaurant many times to tell them that they need to check there inventory but I still get bad creamer. It is thick and clumpy and it ruins the whole cup. They continue to deny and say they changed the batch yesterday but why is this the excuse I get each time. I can understand one or two times because at the end of the day things happen and it is a Resturant. However, it has happened multiple times and has now sullied my experience with BWB.
Gave them 3 chances. Underwhelmed on all 3. Their biggest problem is that their bagels just aren't good.Tuna melt - bread wasn't even grilled or toasted. not sure how they melted the cheese - microwave?Bagel with egg and cheese - egg was a disk that had clearly been made in the microwave. bagel was small, dry, and tough. Felt like it too had been microwaved. They managed to arrange the sandwich so that the cheese was melted to the bagel where there was no egg, so I either got a bite of bagel and cheese, or bagel and egg, rarely all 3. This speaks to how small the egg puck is too.Cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese - thankfully not microwaved. Best thing I've had there, but definitely not worth going back for.
Cannot beat the ice coffee with coffee cubes and that it's make your own mix. This is a huge plus over DD and Starbucks. Bagels are also better than most places.
