Awesome Italian food!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
My husband and I went to eat a house salad garlic rolls and Stromboli. The salad was delicious and so was the rolls but when the Stromboli was brought to our table the mushrooms and green pepper were raw and not cooked when we sent to back after we waited nearly 25-30 mins when the second one was brought to our table the Stromboli was smaller then the first one the vegetables were cooked but the outside dough was burned and tasted burned we were disappointed . The waiter gave us a 5.00Discount but it didnt satisfy our hunger ?
Amazing sauce! Eggplant rollatini was delicious. Don't forget the knots!
Had dinner tonight at Big Louie’s after a twenty five year absence. Still great pizza and amazing service. Will be back for sure!
We were on the east side of town and decided to stop in and get a pizza to take home for dinner. Big Louie's is a staple in Fort Lauderdale, so this was a no-brainer decision! When we entered, we got to the counter to place our order, and there were some menus waiting for us. We decided on a medium cheese pizza as well as slices of chocolate cake. We were quoted a 15 - 20 minutes wait time. While we were waiting, I visited the women's restroom, and it needed some attention. The stall I was in had a sink that had two burned out bulbs (making it dark in the stall), and the toilet tank's lid was missing. The good news is, there was soap and paper towels in the dispensers, and it seemed clean. Our order was ready within the quoted time...SCORE! We took the pizza and cake home and enjoyed it! The pizza had good flavor and was the perfect size (since we'd had a huge lunch). The cake was a bit dry, but the icing was so good! (I didn't get a picture of either, because, well...I was hungry and forgot. Bad me!)Overall, this was a good experience. The parking lot is ample, the food is good, and the employees are friendly. I'll be back!
Calzone was excellent and huge, side of Meatballs were great, rest of the table meals looked fantastic and they said they were very good!
XL pizza was absolutely amazing. To be honest, I’d never though I’d say this but there may have been to many delicious toppings.Highly recommend if you enjoy a light, firm, fluffy crust, tasty sauce and a whole lot of toppings!
I've never really been big on their pizza. I have it another try and I think I'm done trying it. People seem to really like it so maybe it's just me. It's always busy for sure. I have not tried their pasta and from the from, it looks like they have a good variety. My guess would be that it would be decent. My main complaint about the pizza is that it's too greasy, even for me.
We stopped in around 7pm and were warned that service might be slow because they were short staffed. It was not at all! We were seated quickly, everyone was incredibly friendly and nice. We ordered a pepperoni and green pepper pizza that everyone loved! Great sauce and crust. The cannolis for dessert were a crowd pleaser as well. We were very happy with our experience here.
My wife and I vacation in the Fort Lauderdale area about once per year. Each time there, Big Louie's is a must for dinner. This year we ordered the five topping pizza and antipasto salad -- they serve complimentary garlic knots. Our selected pizza toppings were double pepperoni, double sausage, and mushrooms, and it was spectacular! The antipasto salad was a nice portion and delicious. The garlic knots are so good they should be illegal. Big Louie's always provides the best quality and tasting food. We will return there next year!
