Bad experience at this restaurant last night. My partner and I ordered the empanadas and from 1 to 10 they were a 5. The prosciutto pizza was a 7 out of 10 though. But then we ordered the Milanesa Napolitana 23 dollars cost and it was just horrible. The meat hadn’t been marinated adequately, and it had too much of a spice that tasted like basil. Worst experience ever.
Very Argentine style restaurant. We ordered just one cut from the asado menu, which was nice of the waiter to accommodate that. It was so good, we ordered another. The empanadas were good, Quilmes was cold, and Malbec was great. The salad was very Argentine (lettuce and tomato). The service was also Argentine: they don’t ask you how you’re doing every five minutes, you gotta flag em down when you need them.
Not recommend for the health oriented or foodies. Ordered a grilled chicken salad, which had a good portion of chicken but tasted terrible and was overpriced. Greens gone bad, cheap balsamic vinegar and parmesan, rubber chicken, a Mojito for 48$ including 20% tip. The Mojito was great, (with actual mint) but that's it... Service was quick and friendly.
the food, the service, the music good god, everything us excelent! the place is small but super cozy, the wall memorabilia of argentinan sports teams (maradonas fans, yes um talking to you) soccer, esgrimq, rugby etc all there...... also big props for a great picture of enzo francescoli raising the cup with river! (only futbol fans eill know this). Totally recommended! come and have a great time!
Great place, super friendly atmosphere.Great service and the food was good. I ordered grill provolone cheese, spinach and ricotta empanadas and cheese with onions empanadas. My favorite was the choripan (Argentinian sausage sandwich)which was served with a delicious chimichurri sauce and Argentinian salsa criolla.I super recommend it!
Worse Argentinian restaurant that I visited, and I’m an Argentinian! The plates are small and overpriced. The skirt steak was a joke and they didn’t have French fries. They only serve you a “salad” that looks identical to the spring mixed greens that I regularly buy at the supermarket with a little oil. They also charge you a 20% service fee (aka tip) and expect you to give them another 18/20% over that. Who pays 40% tip for such miserable portions? The waitress was very sketchy about it when we mentioned the extra tip. Treated us like this was normal practice. Horrible. Shame on you!
This is the worsts restaurant, flavorless, offer natural lemonade and it’s just a concentrate lemonade, service was not good and expensive
It's a small restaurant and has some nice empanadas. For the very 1st time, we tasted blood sausage, and it was unique! The skirt steak, however, wasn't that good. It was a bit chewy, even with a medium cook
The empanatas here were terrible. They seem to be factory made with little brands on them telling you what's in them. The dough was dry and flavorless. They arrived at the table burned and crunchy. The Parridillada for two featured two types of sausage, steak, short ribs, pork, and a cheese filled bell pepper. It was good, although the steak was over cooked. They salad that came with it was just arugula and two thin tomato slices. A really tiny amount of chimichurri was provided for this meat dish for two. About 1/10th of what is needed. Service was acceptable. Outdoor seating was nice. Not sure I would really recommend it to anyone.
