The place needs better customer service. The food is good and their service is very slow. Some of the employees have a little attitude.I ordered the Cuban sandwich combo. It came with a drink. They had limited choices. They were out of most sodas. The sandwich was okay. It took over thirty minutes to get it. The sandwich was cold when it got to me.To pay took forever. The waitress disappeared. I had to walk up to the kitchen to pay. I was not impressed with the service or food.
Extremely professional staff. Super delicious menu, had vaca frita & a coconut water (fresh from the coconut!).A disgruntled customer unleashed profanities on the staff and was asked to leave; he began trespassing and recording private customers on private property without consent. The police cited the loser and business carried own. Eclectic and diverse customers, an absolute must visit!
It's an outdoor dining with picnic tables, palm trees and colorful. I had the eggs with steak fries and toast .. My waitress was lovely and friendly but fail to ask me if my eggs would be fried or scrambled so I had to order a separate order of scrambled eggs but didn't eat them because it has pieces of char from the grill. Overall the rest of the plate was good steak well seasoned and fries done perfect!!
We have been attempting to eat at Nuevos Cubanos for a few years. One time we stopped at the restaurant and the restaurant did not have any pork entrees. Another occasion, the entrees we wanted to have were not available. This time, some of the entrees were not available but the selections we wanted to order were available. Finally, we had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant and it was worth the wait. We ordered the puerco al horno and the Cuban sandwich. The puerco al horno was almost like pernil but less garlicky. There was a substantial amount of the roast pork. The entree also included white rice and black beans, and French fries. The pork was juicy and tasty; it was shredded pork. The Cuban sandwich was large and very flavorful. The bread was outstanding with a crispy crust and full of taste. We selected French fries as the side dish. The ham and cheese was of good quality. For some reason, even the pickle tasted very good. After eating at Nuevos Cubanos, we can understand the reason for the shortages of the past visits. We usually stopped at the restaurant after lunch and before closing at 5:00 p.m. There is a steady stream of customers throughout mid afternoon. Additionally, the restaurant is open for breakfast. Nuevos Cubanos has a large following, by mid-afternoon, most of the food is probably sold. We enjoyed our meals and had plenty of food to take home and have for lunch the following day. We will return to Nuevos Cubanos. Nuevos Cubanos is located on the west side of Andrews Avenue just south of the intersection with Sunrise Boulevard.
The food was very delicious. Had the Cuban Sandwhich and a Cuban Coffee. 5/5 for the food. The reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is it's a cash only restaurant and the mosquitos were terrible! The bathrooms were so tiny that my leg sat against the wall on the toilet. When you ask for more sauce, they bring it in the smallest container, making you have to ask for more again. I would visit again and bring bug spray next time!
Came with a party of 8 total bill was $140.I had the Cuban Sandwich with black beans and white rice, it was really good. What’s makes this sandwich so good is the way they shred the pork into thin slices. The bread they use is just perfect. It is soft but crispy from the butter that is put on top to press the sandwich with. Sandwich meals come with Coke, Sandwich and 1 side. The staff was friendly but my server was new. she didn’t know a lot about the menu and she was very slow, but sweet. There was a really good band playing live music, enough space to dance, laid back fun place.I would recommend trying this place out.
February 4th,2022 . It was Friday night . We came here for a nice dinner . But we got there and there was nothing . We were the only ones there . This is about 7pm or so . I never been here for . We changed our minds and got it to go . I wanted nothing . My husband got some sandwich and he said it was good. I can’t review it base on the food . Location is fine . Plenty of parking . There was nothing going on . On Friday night , it was empty . Maybe it gets busy later on but I wouldn’t know . The staff was friendly .
Hidden gem! Amazing little spot for authentic Cuban food. Food was so flavorful and the best coffee hands down! Prices are very reasonable and portions are big. Check it out you won’t be disappointed!
First thing first, very friendly staff, although it took awhile for someone to come to our table ? the coconut was fresh and delicious. Now, food was unfortunately dissipating. My fish was lacking in flavor, the fried plantain were cold and burnt, my rice was nothing to write home about but the beans were good for what they were. The 4 stars is honestly less about the food and more about the friendly staff.
By far the best Cuban food in town. Croquettes are amazing
