I've been back here 3/4 times I've been on island this year.best fish sandwich in Fernandina, if not the island!! so much fish on one sandwich! I don't know why the shredded lettuce takes the whole thing up a notch too. Ask for extra sauce!! Black bean salad is great too! Split the sandwich and a side/smaller dish to share.New England Chowder is more watery than creamy, which some people like!
Place is as good as all the reviews say it is, so go. The lobster was delicious, tacos out of sight and great drink selection. Wine in a can! These hush puppies y'all, could be best I've ever had. Line goes by quick and got the food quickly, kudos to the crew!
On our first trip to Amelia Island, this was recommended by every local. We ate here the first night and it was DELICIOUS. The service was fast, the outdoor atmosphere was energetic and comfortable, and the blackened fish sandwich was gone in a second! We ate here several times over the trip and every dish was OUTSTANDING and fresh. Would recommend to every traveler.
Really nice place with chill vibe. You seat outside at the long tables with other parties. Food was delicious. And the ship-playground for kids! We were able to enjoy our food while our son was playing there. We were able to see him all the time.
Perfect as always! Shrimp basket is our favorite, but tacos and fish basket are also delicious. Fries were cooked perfectly today! Would never come to Amelia without eating here at least once. We’ve been known to eat here multiple times during a trip. Order inside, pick up at the window, and several large picnic tables to share with other patrons. Tables are shaded and covered, but not the best choice when raining. Fun pirate ship playground (also in the shade) for kids to play on while waiting to order/get food. Line can get long during lunch and dinner rush, but service is quick!
Excellent place to stop by and enjoy some food!Ambient is very casual, the restaurant is at a very close walk from the waters. It was a nice little restaurant. We came on a Monday morning around 11 am so it was not too crowded. They only offer outside seating but with the beautiful Fernandina Beach weather you can’t go wrong with seating outside side. It is a semi covered patio. The food was fresh, the fish was very tasty, I was not a big fan of the lobster rolls, but my wife really loved them, same as my brother. So it is just not for me. But everything was excellent. This restaurant is delicious and the best part of this is that it won’t break your wallet and the quality and quantity of the food is high!
If you are looking for outstanding food with local flavor this is the place to go. It gets rather crowded at lunch and dinner. You place your order and then find a table in the patio, most of the time sharing with other diners. It is worth whatever wait you may have . Baskets are great and Tacos are even better. We were in town for a long weekend and had both a lunch and a dinner there simply because it is a real bargain for seafood.
Fast, hot, seasoned and they have a playground on site! Tasted like new england food trucks - amazing.
This restaurant is SO good. We loved the fried shrimp tacos and the shrimp po’boy. The hushpuppies were like none I’ve ever had - definitely a must have! Seating is outside at picnic tables, very casual and family friendly. Great fresh food at a great price. We will definitely be back!
Timoti’s is a must if you’re on the island! My husband and I eat here every time we visit, some times even multiple times a week, it’s that good. The Poké Bowl is easily my favorite menu item, followed by the Key Lime Cup which is *chefs kiss*. Also, the vibe is perfect. You won’t want to leave and will be planning your next visit before you’re even finished eating.
