Shrimp and waffle fries were really good! Coleslaw didn’t have much taste. Love the setting. Will definitely go back.
We usually like this place but the shrimp were overcooked and a bit tough. Waffle fries were not hot. Nice folks though.
Fast service. One order was incorrect and immediately fixed. Our waitress was outstanding. Get the Noodle bowl with the Ahi Tuna. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I would eat here again without question.
We stayed 6 days and just loved it. Had one bathroom hick-up and they went out of their way to fix problem and accommodate us. The bar was awesome and the staff were even more. Can’t say enough just loved our whole stay. Would 100% recommend.
This was a great find. It was a cool local type vibe. Food was good and bar tender was awesome. So friendly and helpful. Worth the visit.
We reluctantly waited here for over 3/4 hour on a Monday evening since it was so busy on Karaoke Night. While the music wasn't so hot the meal was enjoyable on an open air covered patio. The staff was friendly and competent and we enjoyed a fried fish dinner.
The food was great, the live music was very entertaining. People watching was awesome. Our waiter, Oscar, was the BEST , friendliest, most kick-ass server that we’ve had so far this vacation!! If you go, request Oscar!!! (And tip him well!)
My family and have have been going to The Surf Restaurant for many years when we come to the Island for our visits (I travel very often with my family for work). I've seen many things at The Surf change over the years both good and bad, but one thing that has remained outstanding, our server Michelle whom is also known as "Seashell" now days. She's always been so helpful as to what's been going on around the Island and is just always on point. She's always so full of joy and energetic. One thing you don't see very often is the love and compassion an employee has for their work place. Hats off to this young lady. The grouper sandwich I had was fantastic and the Beach Burger my daughter has was outstanding. The only thing we were a little dissatisfied with was the crab soup. Definitely not something that will stop us from visiting again on our next trip. Seashell and The Surf staff, keep up the good work. P.S: Please bring back the Shrimp and Crab nachos.
Food was amazing! Service was wonderful! From the hostess stand to our server, and even the manager stopping by! My children loved the atmosphere. We will absolutely be returning here!
We stopped in for lunch around 1:30pm on a Thursday and were seated right away ! My husband had friend the shrimp basket and I had a Santa Fe Salad -- both of which were fresh and tasty. Here's a breakdown of our experience: Friendly hostess greeted us ✓ Great outside dining atmosphere ✓ Good waiter ✓ Terrific food ✓ Would love to go back at night when they are all lit up ! The restaurant felt very clean.
