Darling wine and dessert bar. The orange cake is outstanding. Drink prices are reasonable and they have daily specials ($8 martinis on Mondays, etc). They also have live music on occasion. Great spot for a sweet treat or evening cocktail after dinner.
Ashlyn was very welcoming and personable. However the other bartender was extremely rude, short and of no help. The menu has changed since I was there last and I asked if they still made some of the previous drinks and she gave little to no effort to assist me. I have been to the Decantery several times and this is by far my worst experience there. Service is everything people when you are in this business.
We had no idea what we were walking into, but were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem. They serve charcuterie boards, and wine, beer and mixed drinks. We were hungry from travel, but had a long wait for our dinner reservation, so we sat in the adorable lounge and shared a charcuterie board and a cocktail. I believe they do wine tastings as well. The charcuterie was nothing fancy, but just right for us that day.
My favorite place in town. The atmosphere is great, more of an elegant lounge bar for night caps not your typical rowdy scene. Definitely more of my personal choice. Went there almost every night we stayed in town. Even the dessert is delicious. A must if your in the area. The bartender Sam was really great, thank you!
My wife and I dropped into this establishment for the first time on the afternoon of May 3rd. We sat at the bar and had some wine and admired the detail that went into making this such a beautiful place. We were even more impressed with our server Ashlyn. She was an excellent hostess and conversationalist while continually cleaning and maintaining a very sanitary workspace. We were so impressed that we returned that evening for after dinner drinks which were excellent thanks to Ashlyn and her fellow server. We will certainly return to Fernandina Beach for this experience and also to sample the many more restaurants that have opened since our last visit several years ago.
Absolutely fantastic! We've been here several times, but a previous super rude bartender had turned us off to it for a while. We gave it another shot when friends were in from out of country and Sam was the Bartender and that changed everything. She was working completely alone the first night and was getting killed, but she was running all around with a smile and was a champ! We went for the incredible Smokey Old Fashioned and wine and it was so enjoyable. We even went back the next night. Y'all should give her a giant raise!!
Great, friendly staff. Taylor and Syndney are fantastic and very personable, always have great drink recommendations. The butter cake is incredible to cap off the night. One of our go to places.
