If you enjoy terrible service and cold food this is the place for you. Also the orange juice was so gross it’s was like it was passed it date and acidic. The server didn’t like us for some reason but with other tables was so excited with them. May be the differences in our skin colors. Didn’t even take take half of order down. I was waiting for the other half but then brought us back take out containers. I have been there a few times and experience alright service. But I won’t be coming back.

First of all, I am a "local", and though I always try to support and uplift my community and the business owners in the area, I just could not let this one slide. I realize that times are challenging in the restaurant industry, and it's been difficult for the employees when an establishment is understaffed, but that absolutely does not give a "server" the right to act in such a rude and disrespectful manner. Questions like, "Can we have some silverware, please.", AFTER we received our food, does not warrant the rolling of the eyes and huffing around like your patrons are bothering you. The restaurant wasn't even that busy! My advice to Ms."T" is to check her rude attitude at the door when she gets to work if she wants to succeed in the restaurant industry...especially when "tips" pay the bills. The quality of the food was average and certainly not worth the over $100 bill for a party of four (includes two children). Ms. Carolyn's "Italian Creme Cake" is the best, so other than a quick stop-in to pick up a piece or two, I'll take my dine-in business elsewhere.

We ordered a carrot cake for a birthday party and found it very dry and heavy - not like the coconut cream which has always been very good.

Wow!! The prices here have gone through the roof. $13 for a two egg breakfast is one of the least expensive things on the menu. I get the price of everything went up but I won’t pay $35 for two for breakfast for ok food. They have been around forever but at these prices I don’t think they will stay in business much longer. There are much more reasonably price places with better breakfast on the island. Too bad use to be a great place but we won’t be back.

After reading reviews we expected more. We were seated quickly & server was good. However food was not impressive. Husband had biscuits & gravy. Plenty of sausage but gravy wasn’t creamy but more tasteless like hospital food. I had eggs Benedict. Sauce was bland and one English muffin was burned. But it was fast. We were in & out in 30 minutes.

Typical breakfast food; we were on vacation but we enjoy eating where the locals do... and there were a lot of retiree locals enjoying breakfast here on a weekday morning! Our omelet and eggs-over-easy were cooked nicely, bacon fried just crisp enough, grits as buttery and yummy as only the South knows how to do. The location itself is not much to look at... interior could use a lot of updating and deep-cleaning.

A good friend of mine took me there for my birthday day, this was my 1st visit and I absolutely loved it... If you like country cooking this is the place to go... The staff is very friendly they also make their own cakes, yes that's right cakes... Their specialty is a Coconut cake, that cake was so moist and the Icing is so creamy they sell out of them quickly, I was told they make around 200 cakes A-day and the Coconut is their top seller... I will definitely be going back...

We asked out server the evening before to recommend a breakfast place.Ms. Carolyn's did not disappoint. The coffee was good and strong. The meal and service were quick. The hospitatlity was amazing. The locals all eat here for good reason. I had the omelet and hubby had the benadict, both were delicious! The pies are amazing and it was hard not to buy one for the trip home. We only had a slice but would venture back when we return!

Wow, I hardly ever leave reviews but this place deserves one..What an amazing diner.Food is amazing, sooooo good, staff are super friendly and on point. Great teamwork makes this busy diner run smooth as butter.Better than any restaurant chain.???????

Loved it. Flaky Biscuits & Gravy, plenty of sausage throughout. My colleagues got a couple egg dishes, hash and smoked sausage. Our waitress was great and friendly. Prices are terrific. Definitely a spot to go for breakfast if you're staying on Amelia Island.
