This pizza is great! We ate pizza at another place….(friends took us there) and that other place has nothing on Moon River Pizza! I’d recommend this place for a date, family, or yourself! There is a wait…The pizza is huge for a couple. It’s delicious! If you’re in Amelia and you’re in the mood for pizza, try Moon River Pizza over all else.
Looking for pizza for lunch and found Moon River Pizza in an small plaza. So happy I did. The service was great and the pizza was delicious. Dough was fresh, crispy and just thin enough. Toppings on the vegetarian pizza were plentiful and fresh. Actually one of the best veggie pizza I have eaten. So do not hesitate to go in and enjoy a great pizza at Moon River.
This venue is a hole-in-the-wall dive in a seedy strip mall known for drug deals that serves spectacular pizza! The convoluted salads are even bizarrely good , but the pizza is not so strange( oddly enough )! You can bring your misbehaving screaming child here in your sweaty bathing suit and fear no shame! The soft crusted, unctuous pie is thence reason enough not to trifle!
The staff was friendly and pleasant.Pizza was disappointing. The crust was thin and crispy, which is what we love.The sauce was too sweet, which we do not like. My breaded eggplant topping was dry and flavorless, and my husband's sausage was average, nothing special.One of the biggest red flags for us was how dark it was in the dining and cooking areas. What are they trying to hide? ?
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Cool little place kinda off the beaten path. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and a very nice selection of pizza and different dishes. Two big thumbs up!
Good food, good service, very busy place. Friday night, so we expected that. I would go here again when visiting
From the road the signage is quite subdued. Only the neon beer signs in the windows give you a clue that the business is up and running. The staff were very polite and I was served my two slices of meat lovers pizza in a timely manner. The ovens cooked the pizza crust perfectly and I the overall taste was outstanding. The tables and booths were kept clean and each table had several containers of assorted pizza condiments all filled plenty. The beer was offered in a can, bottle or mug. It was served at the perfect temperature. There were psycadelic paintings which were done by the owner for sale around the dining area walls.. All in all minus it's poor signage I thought the service, menu and ambiance were all top notch.

Love their pizzas. The gorganzola salad is our favorite. Employees are always friendly and make a point of getting to know you. We've been customers for years.
Can’t decide which is better, the salad or the pizza! Both are exceptional! Love the atmosphere and the people who work there are awesome!
