We ordered extra ice in our sweet tea on the screen and even in the Drive-Thru we had a hard time having to stop the drive-thru worker from pouring so much tea and giving us the extra ice as we wanted you could tell they were not happy us stopping them two or three times all we wanted was extra ice and not so much tea but that's not what they wanted us to have it's getting tough to eat at these places with the attitudes the way they are to the customers because the employee cannot get it correct she actually spilled half the ice on the floor from the scoop by being sloppy she gave us the hard stare the whole time that's okay I'm a big boy I know where to spend my money next time
They either need to shut the place down or hire people that actually know how to follow simple directions to make a deluxe crispy chicken sandwich…. I might as well got a mcchicken . I called no one answered . Never coming to this place again .
3/22/22. 1200-1230Worse service received in any industry. Staff is rude, inattentive and purposefully vindictive.I ordered at kiosk as there were no other options. The payment step was far from intuitive so I selected the pay at counter option (also far from intuitive), as did about 10 other people.We (me and the 10 other people) waited for about 30 minutes. While the staff tirelessly slaved to accommodate the drive through rush. Several times during this 30 minute period, staff members made eye contact with many of the inside customers and passed through the gaggle of us while waiting at the counter.Finally, another customer got the attention of a staff member and inquired about the food and the long wait.The staff member asked "did you order at the kiosk?(there was no other option).Customer responded in the affirmative.The staff member the asked if she had selected pay at counter option.Customer responded in the affirmative.The staff member then said (in a mildly contentious tone)"oh, you have to pay before the order goes in. It says it right here on this sign" and gestures to a beat up old piece of paper taped to the plexiglass in front of the register.The customer stated "well no one told any of us that".Another customer chimed in and said "yeah, we have been waiting for 30 min, someone could have said something since there is a gaggle of people here waiting".Staff member said(in very contentious tone) "why, that's what the sign is for"At this point the an argument broke out between some of the customers and the staff member. The other customers left.
Food was hot. We used the app and went through the drive thru. Definitely a great way to save time.
So took my daughter to1896 S 8th StFernandina Beach, FL 32034 this morning 3/6/22 9:30AMThey manager was mean and rude even to the point of snapping at an elderly man because he asked what the order number was for the food they put on counter for someone. When I asked an employee about what order number it was (trying to help the elderly man out) I was left with a short reply of "I dont know" the employee didnt even stop to check the order there was no eye contact nothing acted like I was bothering her. Remember McDonalds employee's without the customer's you would not have a job.. I have never been more ashamed of being a lifetime resident of Fernandina Beach as I was this morning. McDonald's might need different employee's. Just saying
Even with cash only .make customers use kosh ! And attitude with employees a bit over top..I saw voice raised with senior lady and a smart attude when helped finally after 30 mins at kosh.
As far as the food goes….it’s McDonald’s so that’s all the same but the crew here is not very social. Barely got two words before “here you go” and that was it as far as the drive thru.
They have limited staff during the pandemic, but the person working the drive-through was friendly and polite and efficient. That’s about all you can ask for. Food was good
Absolutely the worst McDonald's experience EVER and that is saying a lot. Ordered pancakes, 3 biscuits and 4 hashbrowns and a drink. Got back to hotel to find no straw, no napkins, no syrup/butter, no utensils, 3 hash browns. In addition, worst services of a teenager no wanting to be there and not caring!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Too bad I can't give ZERO stars
My third trip in a row with my order being wrong. I was going through the drive through, so I parked and went inside. At the counter I set the bag of food down as the manager was there. I said “This is not my food.” He grabbed the bag and started walking away, so I raised my voice and pointed to the drive through window and said, “It belongs to those people. I heard her say she gave away the wrong order.” The manager looked at me like he was going to jump over the counter and hit me! No “Sorry your order was wrong” or “Sorry for the inconvenience”. Just “What did you order?” He came back and dropped my food bag in front of me, still looking at me like he wanted to attack me and walked away without saying a word. This was the last time I go to this McDonalds. The manager sets the tone and his poor demeanor is evident in the other employees who are generally rude and incompetent at getting a simple order correct.
