Larry's is a nice little sub shop located in Fernandina Beach Florida. The chain started in Jacksonville. This store caught our eye from the road. A steady chain of lunch customers enter the door and are greeted by a super friendly young lady. She suggested we try the Gold Rush sandwich which is warm and features fresh deli meats and a sweet and spicy Peruvian sauce. Topped with onions, lettuce and tomatoes this sandwich hit the spot.
I was very I’ll for two weeks and could barely eat. Today I got my appetite back and wanted a Jakes Philly so badly. This sounds crazy but it was so good and transformative. I know it’s just a sandwich but it represented being normal and well. Thank you for your awesome food and great service. Sometimes it’s more than just the food ?
