Heather and Michelle will take care of you. Salmon salad with red velvet chocolate bits as a finish is my favorite.

We ate dinner we arrived around 7pm this place has a nice feel to it. Our food was awesome. I had the fish basket which was fried Mahi-mahi, the fish was real good, good tarter sauce, great hush puppies actually ordered an extra side of hush puppies, French-fries we’re ok. My wife and our friend had the special which was grilled mahi-mahi with grilled shrimp and rice and it was awesome as well. We had dessert key lime pie and Choclate turtle cheese cake, both were delicious. Our server was Hannah chestnut she was awesome sweet and attentive to our needs. This is a great local restaurant I’m glad us out of towners tried. Has outside and inside seating with great sunset views.

This is always a great spot to eat and enjoy watching boats coming and going. Our scallop appetizer was delicious, as usual, although it was missing the marinated squid. The soft shell crab, not so much. The crab had a lot of shell that was not soft at all making it inedible. One was cooked through and the other one was not.

Great service! Blackened scallop appetizer was wonderful with spinach, seaweed salad and an edible orchid as garnish. The roux in the seafood gumbo made for some of the best gumbo tasted in the area.

food was delicious the staff was great and a great view overlooking the marina you must try the bread pudding with whiskey sauce delicious

Great food and atmosphere! Yum!

Great food and atmosphere.

So happy we went tonight. Eden and Frankie we playing. We were not aware there was entertainment. They were GOOD! And FUN!!As usual, the food was good and they were busy. Loved the chocolate cheesecake. Thanks Terrell for serving us. We'll be back on Tuesdays for sure. Nice sunset from the deck.

We stopped here on a quiet Tuesday mid afternoon for an early dinner. I ordered the corn crab chowder along with rice beans and sausage. Great outdoor setting overlooking the marina and the chowder was possibly the best soup I’ve ever tasted. The crab was clearly evident in the chowder and I only wish I had ordered a bowl instead of a cup.

We are so disappointed in our first and last experience at Kitchen 251. We were basically ingnored by 2 servers until finally one showed up. I have suspisions of prejudice since my daughter is Asion but can't confirm that for sure. They were not very busy and only a few tables were filled on the patio and time after time both servers passed by us as if we were invisible. When Terrell finally did show up, he said he thought someone else had taken our order but offered no apology and was very cranky. He asked if it would be 2 checks or one which is odd to ask at the start of the meal and when it's mother and daughter. He did not bother to tell us about the daily specials and when asked for details on the wedge salad he was very brief and did not ask my daughter what dressing she would like. We felt as though we were not welcome at all. My next concern was with the outrageous price of a fish sandwich! $23.95!! Are you kidding? I know restaurants have suffered through Covid and I empathise, but that is price gouging. The menu did not display the price as it was the catch of the day, Terell never said how much it was when I ordered, and I only found out when I received the bill. They also do not offer substitution of hush puppies for fries. I would have happily paid a reduced upcharge but he told me I had to order a separate order which was $5.95. It is mid-range dining at fine dining prices. At these prices I would expect more. There are too many other wonderful seafood restaurants on the Island that we don't need places like this. The atmosphere is nothing special and they don't do much to make the ambiance of the deck by the marina very inviting. For these reasons, I am not able to recommend this restarurant and will not be returning.
