Date: Spring 2022Came across this place by chance while driving to another place to eat. I'm glad the decision was made to eat here instead because the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. There isn't much room inside where you order, but the outside patio was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy some delicious food. You order at the counter inside and they bring the food out to you while you enjoy the scenery. I tried several items on the menu, including pastries and sandwiches. I recommend while in the area.
We enjoyed our first stop at Hola and had the original Cuban. My husband enjoyed the cuban coffee. We got a large portion of food, which is nice. It's not a big menu though if you are looking for variety, but the food was very good.
WOW!!! Really WOW!!! We were wandering around Fernandina/ Amelia Island area and stumbled on this place. You walk in and immediately are greeted warmly as you place your order at the counter and sit in this colorful and inviting sweet home. There is seating in a courtyard outside as well. Everything, I mean everything was so good and fresh!!! Had to try a sampling so, with help from the young lady taking our order, we got Media Noche, The Cuban (of course), Empanadas, Fried Yuca and Paola Rellena. The bread was heavenly, flavors were perfection and the sauces were so good! Soft drinks and coffee was a must too. So ?!!!
We love the Cuban sandwiches here. Very casual, you order at counter then find a seat. They have a small area inside and a nice courtyard outside, where we prefer to sit. Enjoyed our lunch very much.
It was time for lunch and we headed to find one of our favorite places in Fernandina. At first we were upset because it was not at the same location. A quick search on our phones had us heading to their new location. More space to enjoy the great food. We had; Papa Rellena, Croquetas, Empanadas (Beef and Pork) and Pastelito (Guava w/Cheese). Everything was really good. The quality is consistent at Hola! and the staff is always a joy. My wife and I always enjoy their food and look forward to returning.
Hola is AMAZING!!!!! I took friends from out of town and what an excellent experience. The service is extremely friendly. My friends and I sat outside on the patio and they were closing the restaurant but insisted we stay out there enjoying the beautiful weather and the patio! The smell coming from the kitchen is so intoxicating! Definitely grab a bite to eat if you're a local or from out of town! You won't be disappointed.
Located in the hiatoric district of Ferdandina Beach on Florida's Amelia Island. Awesome Cuban sandwich shop. Eat on the patio, on the porch of inside. The historic district has many restaurants and shops, in a setting of ancient live oaks and vintage houses. I noticed a number of people who seemed to be picking up their lunch after ordering online.
Located in Fernandina Beach historic district, a great little sandwich shop. Eat inside , on the porch or in the back patio area. On fifth street and Ash street. I spent about $17.00 on a sandwhich, a bottle of Killians and a cheese pastelito. Parking is limited, you may need to walk in from another parking area. The historical district contains many restaraunts, in a setting of ancient live oaks and vintage homes.
My hubby is a cuban sandwich freak and this one was ok. The pork was a little bland on both the cuban and the pork sandwich. Busy place, so expect a wait for a table.
Great vibe! Super friendly service!Loved the guava pastelito and Cortadito ?
