I came here with a couple of friends. I treated them to some garlic knots and all of us ordered a combo; a slice with a drink. It was a nice atmosphere.Classic pizza spot and everything tasted like my childhood.I would recommend to stop on by if you're in the mood for some good pizza! Don't forget the garlic knots!
It’s been a year since our move here and we’ve continued to search for a place with pizza, Italian entrees and sandwiches that to replace our “go to” back in Connecticut. We may have found it. Went for pizza this evening and picked our own toppings. It was excellent. Thin crust but not too thin. Plenty of toppings and lots of flavor. Best pizza we’ve had since moving to Florida. We also had stuffed mushroom which were good. Menu had all our favorites. We plan to go back and try an entree or two.
We visited Coastal Pizza on 03/13/22. This was actually our third choice seeing that the two other pizza places we looked up were closed on Sundays.When entering we realized that this was a very popular establishment as it was really busy. We were a party of four and seated quickly by a very helpful hostess.Our waiter informed us that they were experiencing some staffing shortage for the day and got our drinks quickly.We all ordered the half salad and it was delicious, the fact that they don't use iceberg lettuce was a major plus!Our pizza was an 18 inch thin crust with 5 toppings and cooked to perfection.I highly recommend Coastal Pizza as their food and service are superior to anything on the island!
While visiting Fernandina Beach, we decided to find a pizza place for dinner on the last night of our trip. After doing a quick search, Coastal Pizza was less than 5 miles from our hotel. I called in our order for large pizza (it was a huge large), some BBQ wings and two slices of the Lemon Mascarpone Cake (yummy)! It was a Sunday evening and when we arrived for our order at 6pm, our food was ready. When we returned to our hotel and opened the pizza box, we found everything to our liking. We thoroughly enjoyed the dessert and it was certainly the highlight to finish our meal. When we visit the area again, we will certainly make a stop at Coastal Pizza...enjoyed the food and customer service was top notch.
We have eaten at Coastal Pizza many, many times! It is always delicious and nowhere else in the area can compare. I highly recommend! Their calzones and the BlackRock pizza are two of our favorite menu items.
Since Covid and their new location on island- we have only done take out. It has always been good. BUT dining in was great on ‘NATIONAL PIZZA DAY’. It was really busy- we had great service and food was VERY HOT!!!!! Sam was a great server!!!
Great pizza joint! Stopped there for a late lunch and was bery pleasantly surprised! Friendly staff and great pies! Their basket of fries are fun and tasty! Will be back!
Pizza way over salted and very light on the toppings. It smelled great, but came up short on the taste test.
I want to love this place I really do they have great pizza, but every single time I’ve ordered to go and get there when the tell me to, they are 10+ minutes behind. Tell me that on the phone, give me a real kitchen call not a guess. My time is valuable and I’m not sure I can give you guys anymore of mine.
So, we were visiting the Omni hotel and found the food to be about 3-4x what it should cost... Basically a burger with fries and two tacos and a beer.... bill was like 80 bucks without tip... that's for reference. We decided we wanted pizza for dinner, and sifted through a few places on Google and settled on Costal. Just, amazing. I would have paid double for the pizza I had and feel like I got a deal. The service was incredible and the pizza was one of the best pizzas I've had. I believe my waitress was Jordan, and she was great. She checked on us the appropriate amount, wasn't neglectful or hovering. Apparently it was trivia night, but we didn't stay for that. It got kind of busy towards the end of our visit, we left around 530ish if I recall. Long story short, great pizza place, great beer, superb and friendly service.... Go there. I'd go all the time if I was local.
