Great restaurant in a great location. We decided to eat outside and were impressed with the view of the marsh. I had the burnt ends and my wife had the salmon. Everything was delicious. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area.
It was amazing. The server was amazing. Very tentative. We tried not to run her, but it seem we were to me. The pork belly rinds arrived at our table still popping. The cheesecake was heavenly. The pecan pie was great. We chose to sit inside, but there was the option of sitting outside. I will definitely go back with my boyfriend.
My family of 5 tried little bit of everything. Loaded french fries for appetizer - Great, just needed more. Pulled pork was good. Try with savory sauce Ribs - Very good My son had me try some of his brisket - It melted in my mouth and was delicious. I was also very impressed with the sides. We had baked beans, mac and cheese, fried okra, and fries. Our server was on the ball and friendly. Food was food good and the entire experience was good. Will definitely go back.
Enjoyed the view outside and the food was good. Staff was nice. The assortment of sauces on the table is ideal for letting you chose which you would prefer rather than being locked into one sauce.
The meal portions were huge. I got the steak loaded baked potato & collard greens. Didn't care for the greens there was more stems then greens. My granddaughter got the Mac & cheese (which she loves she's 3) you could tell it was simple Kraft but they gave it a fancy name to throw us off. My daughter got the shrimp,baked potato & beans she loved everything.
Our first time and we loved it! Our waitress Lacy recommended the BBQ grilled cheese. Very delicious! Loved sitting outside on the patio as well. We will be back!
Pleasant and knowledgeable waitress Christina. We ordered the Captain’s Platter with 4 meats and 4 sides to split between us. Plenty of food! The pulled brisket top notch. Ribs were great. And pork belly was good, really didn’t need the BBQ sauce drizzled on. Chicken a little dry but still tender and easily remedied with a little sauce. Wine choices were good for a BBQ place. We definitely overate but enjoyed ourselves! Would eat here again!
Not bad, but not great bbq. The mac n cheese was probably the highlight. Had the chicken, which was on the drier side, same can be said for the ribs (at least the outer pieces). The slice brisket came chopped, but was fairly decent. The bbq fries were really just heavily seasoned fries, they were okay but fairly salty. I do recommend the bourbon bbq sauce if you come here.
We stopped by for a quick lunch and we weren't disappointed! The food was delicious. My husband had the wings and chicken. I had the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato casserole and it was some of the best chicken salad I've ever had!We sat outside on the porch the looks out over the marsh and we loved the view. There's not much better than watching the Spanish moss sway in the breeze while having a good lunch. Loved it.
Based on majority of others reviews, I guess we got them on an off night. The pulled pork was okay. Sauces were nothing special and tasted like bottled sauces you get at any grocery store. Fries had been cooked a LONG time ago…barely even warm. We thought it was strange our online order was ready for pickup 5 minutes after placing it. I guess that’s why the fries clearly weren’t fresh. Disappointed with the amount of money we spent on it when pretty much anywhere else would have been better.
