Great food, the waitress was very attentive however seemed to rush us along. All dishes come with choice of potato and glazed carrot.
It was a nice intimate experience. Brittany was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had calamari, ribeye, and filet. Everything was cooked perfectly and the steak simply melted in our mouth. Everything was great!
Anniversary
I had the pleasure of coming to this restaurant memorial day wknd to celebrate my sister's birthday. Our waitress,Marianne, was phenomenal. She was gracious and knew the menu well and made great suggestions. The scallops are to die for, the jumbo shrimp scampi is divine and the sauteed mushrooms are like heaven in your mouth. My sister enjoyed the surf and turf. The drinks were good and strong. That's the only thing the bartender did right. The bartender was rude and only wanted to serve guests of a certain complexion.I am thrilled to be coming bk to Jax this wknd and will be asking for Marianne and will indulge in this fabulous cuisine ??
Bob's Chop House was fabulous! We went for our 25th anniversary. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgable. We received a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary. The steak was perfection!
Unfortunately we were seated near a very large , very very loud group. It was disturbing to the entire restaurant and our server was apologetic . We were disappointed to pay this much and having outstanding food and service only to be bombarded with intoxicated loud talk. I would suggest that a group like that be given their own room or otherwise be accommodated elsewhere.
Usually a quiet place but there was a 50-person party and it became quiet loud.
