Fantastic fried shrimp dinner. Very nice upscale southern cuisine done right.
Fantastic lunch (flounder and small Cobb salad) was delish, service wonderful and nice wine selection!
We enjoyed a fabulous meal for Father's Day. called at las t minute and was accommodated with reservations at the desired time. At first disappointed that none of the dinner menu items were on the lunch menu. That disappointment was soon squashed. We had the fried oyster appetizers. Delish! We had the fried shrimp with cheese grits. All I can say is oh my! FABULOUS! Breaded, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Dessert coconut cream brulee. My favorite dessert and my Dad loves coconut. A perfect ending to a perfect meal. All of this would not have been possible if not for the impeccable service by Lauren. She was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely recommend Beech Street for Dinner and now lunch! Love it!
Excellent atmosphere, incredible food , & our waiter Sean was knowledgeable, very personable, a true pleasure . The outdoor dining was perfect.They have only been open 9 months and you would think they have been creating for years !Truly a beautiful experience.; ( and we are hard to please I’ve been told lol ) we shall be back !
Long story but my new husband and I got married with only 2 weeks planning due to our busy schedules! Crazy!!! Even though they had short notice, the staff at Beech Street Grill helped us plan a gorgeous, delicious, and very relaxing dinner for 17 people! Athan was our server and was absolutely wonderful, he presented the dinner and drink options expertly. Mollie made a beautiful cake and arranged for the flowers. The flowers were perfect and the cake yummy! They prepared the private room upstairs and bar area for us and it was so lovely. Our guests were able to mingle and drink the most delicious cocktails. Everyone had a wonderful time and has not been able to stop talking about the amazing food and staff at Beech Street Grill❤️ Thank You again all the staff at Beech Street Grill, We will be back! We Highly Recommend 10/10!
We had a reservation and arrived 30 minutes early, expecting to wait. They took us to our table without waiting. Waitstaff was friendly, very knowledgeable about menu items. Food was exactly as ordered, and delicious.
We had a delightful dinner for my friends birthday. The food & cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was lovely! But our server, Athen, made our experience 100x better! He was knowledgeable, charming and incredibly efficient! His service took a nice night out and made it exceptional!
We enjoyed a cup of the clam chowder w corn (delicious), tuna ahi poke bowl, and evenings special snapper w pineapple salsa & rice. Everything was hot, to the table fairly quickly, and served by a knowledgable waiter. We did not have a reservation but were able to secure a high top in the bar area. Several areas available to dine in, modern and clean. Small outdoor patio area, gas heaters available for cool evenings. Free parking nearby. Prices reasonable for the quality, and level of service. We will return.
I’m going to have to be honest here… this place has a lot of work to do. For starters, the only hostesses/servers in the restaurant were shy teenagers that haven’t been properly trained. Our server informed us they had wine specials & when we asked about what they were she wasn’t sure of the answer. We got appetizers & salads (collard greens & Thai shrimp— both fantastic!). Then around 9:30p (arrived at 8:30 for our 8:45 reservation) we got our dinners (scallops, flounder, salmon, & Fernandina shrimp). The flounder dish was kind of lukewarm and honestly I didn’t really taste any flavor in it except the broccolini, the fried shrimp was good, the scallops were delicious, the salmon was also lukewarm and lacked flavor. Honestly for a ~$50 a person evening I expected so much more. My partner and I have tried nearly every restaurant on the island since buying a home here 3 years ago and this is the ONLY restaurant I’ve ever been to that didn’t live up to the high expectations here. There’s so many better options in downtown so we won’t try it again, just pass the word along..
Overall rating 4.4. The atmosphere, service, and food are all great. The drinks were on the weak side.The waitress and staff were amazing. Jaqueline was an amazing waitress and made our experience, so kudos and thank you. The food was actually really good. I personally recommend the brussel sprouts. They were fire. The atmosphere was nice too. Outdoor and indoor seating available.The weakest point were the drinks. Given the price point and higher quality vibe, I expected some solid drinks. My first drink I ordered from the menu and it was good (not amazing). The next drink, I asked for a picture worthy cocktail and I got a drink with a pink flower. The bartender needs some work; otherwise, this place would've hit 5 stars for me.
