This is the most wonderful surf shop I’ve been to! I’ve been to many surf shops but this one has to be the most welcoming environment I’ve experienced, the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and helped me with whatever I needed. They are so clean, everything is neat and in order. They were consistent on helping me and very helpful with activities I could do around the area. I asked if I could use the restroom even though it said “employees only” & they were so helpful showing me where it was at! The juice shop “Go Juice” was very nice as well and had great customer service i was welcomed right when I walked in. All in all this shop is a great place to visit and I can’t wait to come back to it!
I can’t thank the management of this surf shop enough!! Not only did they help me find the perfect beach essentials for the summer but they also gave me numerous recommendations of what to do while on the island. The sweet couple who manage the surf shop and juice bar were so incredible and went above and beyond to make my visit VERY enjoyable. This was hands down the best costumer service I’ve received and can’t wait for my next visit. I definitely recommend you check out Amelia Surf Co. and Go Juice if you find yourself on the island. I visited Amelia Surf Co for the first time this morning. Great shop with a great atmosphere. While there, I witnessed some younger people trying to shoplift some clothes. The staff quickly recognized it and handled the situation with professionalism. Kudos to the crew, I will definitely be back.
Amelia Surf Co is by far the best surf shop I have ever been to and the staff there is amazing. The people here are super nice and are always willing to help you out. They have awesome clothing and swim wear that I love to get as well as a cool juice store connected to it.
I got chewed out for using the restroom instead of the changing room to try on shorts. I felt so uncomfortable I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I didn't even get to buy the shorts I wanted. It was an awful experience. If you don't want your customers to use that restroom you need signs instead of rudely confronting your customers. And yes she was very rude she could have been so much more professional about asking me to use the changing room. Will not be back.
Several employees lost it over us trying on something in the bathroom. No signs that said no merchandise in bathroom. No listed dressing rooms. No warnings of any kind just said we were stealing in a nasty angry manner. My wife was just trying on a few sizes of the same board shorts.
This shop makes up reviews to drown out their negative ones. They treated me so terribly and accused me of stealing when I didn’t even have any merchandise on me from the store. The customer service was terrible and I thought the roaches were bad enough.
