We went here because it was the only place that had any parking spots. This should have been a clue. We wanted to go to another spot but it had a well known musician playing live and was totally booked. The food was awful and overpriced . Service mediocre at best. The drinks were ok. I would say go here for cocktails by the water but NOT for food. Even the water was terrible. Of the 4 of our meals only the salmon was decent but the vegetables with it tasted terrible.
The guy in charge of parking is RUDE! He says compact cars only which is what ours was per the rental and turns around and has 2 Kia souls parked there. He was a complete douche! The server was also terrible and lacked friendliness. She forgot to put my moms meal in, everyone’s food came and she came back to check in and I said she’s missing her food. Took another 15min to get it and everyone was done eating by then. She brought our checks out when we wanted another drink and I said there are several of us that weren’t ready for our checks because we are getting more drinks. She said she had been there since 10 something in the morning and was going home. Switched us to someone else where we had to pay another 20% gratuity to her also. The trunks (wraps) are terrible and lack flavor!!! Mixed drinks were delish though! Wouldn’t recommend this place ??♀️
Nice lunch, one man band was good 80s -70 songs fun. Sat on water had lunch and beers with family. Worth a try casual some in beachy attire. After all ya on the beach..
We stopped in here for a couple of drinks and saw this AMAZING BAND, the "Elderly Brothers" perform. I didn't want to leave as I was enjoying them SO MUCH. Hope to be back there again some day - FOR SURE!
Had one of the best salads of my life here!We love to get food to go and eat at the beach across the street.
So we headed to the white elephant to see a friends band play last night. Figure it be busy holiday week Saturday beach day well surprisingly got a quick parking spot and a quick table. That was about all that was quick.! Place was not packed at all. Anyway waited and waited and waited and waited for a server Na/Da actually asked three servers if they could help and all said I’ll get you someone or just ghosted us. I actually went to the bar and got my own drinks. Like after 49 min we got someone to take our order. Food never showed at the table ended up sitting on the bar with the bartender looking around like who orders is this. Walked over to the bar and grabbed it my self. Didn’t see the server till see dropped the bill off. Actually got another round of drinks at the bar on my own.!!! Even the bartenders could see how bad the floor service was and apologized. Threw them the tip !!! Paid the bill and left
I really enjoy the menu and food here because it's always tasty and the is a wide range of fun options from raw oysters to broccoli bites to blackened grouper, done right! Fast service great bartenders and wonderful wait staff. Live music, views of the bay. Great drink options too. Fair prices and excellent taste.
Six of us stopped in the white elephant for an early dinner. We all had seafood, between grouper sandwiches to shrimp. Everyone liked the food Our waitress Jenny was awesome. Even though they were very busy, she kept up, and took great care of us. Tell the owner to give her a raise. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars,was the music. Didn't like it very much.
Service was fine but the beer wasn't cold and the food was just okay. We ordered a burger and a patty melt. One with sweet potato fries, one with regular fries. The burgers are cooked medium well but can be cooked to order. Medium well was pretty dry. The fries looked and tasted like supermarket friesThey had a couple of guys playing and singing who were also okay. There is a view of a canal outside on the deck; one can watch the boats coming and going.
Compressed menu with all items being made very well. Beautiful views of the water. At night the dock has lamps so you can see all the fish.Live music also happens here. Several people at the table said the Mudslide drink was very tasty and good amount of liquor.
