We sat upstairs at the bar. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Our bartender/server was Mallory. She was friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the menu items. She is really an asset to this establishment. The summer menu food was good and reasonably priced. Happy hour has good drinks that are priced fairly.

great service, expect to spend $$

Server leslie was fantastic, we had calamari(super tender), conch fritters(top notch super crunchy and moist) pretzel(crunchy on outside moist inside dipping sauce excellent), clam chowder for apps eveything was very good. Entrees was grouper with risotto, coconut shrimp,French dip, mahi mahi with vegetables (this seasoned well but was way overcooked and dry 3.5 stars on this dish). Deserts cream brulee (one best i have ever had but very small for price),canoli, key lime pie, all was delicious. Just know place is pricey with smaller portions sign of times.

Nice restaurant upstairs and outside bar and outside tables on the first floor. Beautiful view of the beach on the second floor. As far as the food. It's expensive (almost $100 for 3 meals + two salads + 3 non alcoholic drinks + 1 appetizer). Unfortunately two out of the three meals we ordered were not so good. The side items were burnt too. The side salad was really small. If you want ice tea your only choice is unsweetened. No sugars or sweeteners on the table either which I thought was weird. They do give you bread and butter for no charge though.

The filet mignon was amazing. My grandson had the blackened salmon sandwich and liked it. my hubby got the prime rib, his standard at this restaurant. love the food and staff is great!

Great food and atmosphere . Leslie was a wonderful server with a great smile and a fantastic sense of humor. Service was great!

Went to the waverly tonight for a family Birthday dinner and our server was Krissy and she was absolutely the best. She was so friendly and became part of the family. She was on point with service and making sure we had everything we needed. The Food and drinks were amazing especially the espresso martini. When we go back I will request her every time and if you want amazing service ask for Krissy because you will have best experience as well.

Very good service, the food was amazing and the server was very friendly and made our 54th wedding anniversary that much better

My husband and I visited the Waverly on our most recent trip to Englewood. Portions were small, food was cold, and service was slow. I know that our server was getting frustrated with the kitchen, as after an hour when we still didn’t have our food, she said some choice words that I don’t think she knows we heard. When we did get our food, it was cold and flavorless. I ordered the filet mignon and added the shrimp. It just lacked flavor. I ordered the key lime pie for dessert and it was served frozen. While I like my key lime to be a bit on the cold side, I wasn’t expecting it to be a hockey puck. This place probably deserves 2 stars, but I decided on 3 stars because the food was palatable. Needless to say, We will not be back.

I will never forget my 50th Birthday at The Waverly in Manasota Key. Not only was the food great but Krissy our waitress was the best I've ever had. She offered advice on the menu, she was pleasant, fun, kind and became my 50th memory! She sang to me and just made my experience the best. #krissybestwaitress #[email protected]#1. When I visit again I only want her to serve me!!!! Katherine Cunningham
