The staff was so welcoming and friendly. After choosing our items we waited only a couple minutes and they brought the food to our car (the mosquitos were feasting after a few rain showers and we had our newborn). We got home and devoured our delicious food. They served good portions and the ingredients were all fresh and flavorful. We can't wait to go back again soon.
first time to Speedy. 2 tostados, very good, the tacos were sparse and dry the shell was dry and tough, the enchaladas were dry--a lot of corn meal and little pork; the cinnamon stick was great and the dessert with raspberry and cream cheese was great too. $30.00 not up to par for our taste. The people could not be more friendly!!!!!
Great tacos, they char the edges of the corn tortilla, and the Al Pastor was juicy and flavorful.
I am big-time Mexican food eater, I tried them all I've been in this area off and on for many years even Arcadia. So whenever I've wanted Mexican I drive all the way to Arcadia to get it because I can't find any in the Englewood area I liked, until now I love love love that food truck.
I love this food truck. #1 Mexican food in the area. At lunch time is full, but if you go before 12 or after 1 , is more calmed. I truly enjoy sitting under the canopy , with the soft breeze. Owners are really friendly and the people that come for lunch interact with each other and is an overall community experience to sit for lunch at this little spot in Englewood. They're open until 10 pm I think. Food is fresh, simple and delicious. Parking can be a little tricky as it's a gas station, but worth the hassle just to sit down with your taco, torta, tostada, you name it. The selection of fillings for the tacos is wide, from pulpo ( octopus) to chicharron and lengua ( tongue ?) but don't worry , they have beef and chicken as well. For drink , I like their horchata, but jarritos are available too .
Stopped for gas on South McCall road. Citgo. Saw the authentic Speedy Gonzales food truck. Worth a try. Fresh and well seasoned tacos . Beautiful burrito and the like. Glad I stopped. They have a seating canopy and are not stingy with any extras. Family owned and operated. Loved it.
Great food and fast for pick up. They have an affordable menu and everything is always fresh and tastes amazing. Everything from Tacos to Tortas to Burritos is great. We go there on a regular basis and will continue too. They have never missed anything in our order or made it wrong.
Prices are amazing the burritos and tacos are very reasonably priced. Best Mexican food around the area.
Great place to get Mexican food. They're open till 9:00 pm, and the food is ready fast. It's well priced, and the staff is really friendly. They started out decent, but more recently, they've made some improvements and have become the tastiest in Englewood.
Authentic tacos and the best salsa! Tried this place after Nados gave me some bland salsa like I didn't look like I wanted the real stuff or something? Glad I found this place, they do great large to go orders too, perfect to bring in to the crew.
