The quality of food was second to none out of all Italian restaurants we have had the pleasure of dining at. All of the staff was attentive and very friendly, our waitress was personable and on point making sure our meal was nothing less than perfect. The manager even frequented our table several times to make sure everything was to our liking. If you want authentic Italian food and to be pampered by a spectacular staff, this is your place. Semper Optima Nicola’s Italian Kitchen! We will be back!
Wonder service and meals. My wife and I had dinner on Saturday night … it was delicious authentic Italian with wonderful attentive service! What more could you ask for? Fresh flowers ?… they had beautiful fresh flowers too! It was a delightful and enjoyable experience.
Very crowded for good reason. The food was hot and fresh. They served little bread bites that were fabulous. The story in the menu made you feel connected. The manager was very helpful. Thanks.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. We called by for dessert and coffee and loved the service and food so much we came back tonight for more. They were incredibly busy but the service was just as good, so happy to find this gem, we will definitely be back on our next trip to Bunbury. Highly recommend!
Some of the best tasting Italian food I’ve had in YEARS! Loved the Rapini appetizer! The carbonara and tortellini Alfredo were out of this world! Especially the carbonara (add the cream to it!). Cannot wait to go back and try everything else!
Had a reservation and was seated immediately. Service was prompt, meals included salad and garlic knots. Entrees were perfectly seasoned and very generous portions. Prices were very reasonable.
We made resevarations for yesterday and waited 1/2 past our scheduled time. When we did get seated we saw several other tables which were just empty but the hostess said no you can't have that one but it sat empty for the entire time we were there. This restaurant has changed as only 1 watress was from the old staff. This staff is rude and just not nice to anyone. The food was good but the people working there is the worst. will not go back.
We moved to the area in July of 2021. One of the first local restaurants we found was Nicolas. We found the food to be excellent and the service to be good. We have patronized the location about twice a month and always had a great experience. When family and friends come into town, we always take them to Nicolas to enjoy the food. Today, that all changed. We understand that when in season you have to make reservations as it is very busy. We made the reservation a few days ago for 5:30 pm. We arrived with our family at 5:15 and promptly checked in. We realized we were early. While we were waiting, another group of 4 came and checked in with a 5:40 reservation and the hostess knew them. About 5:40, she took the 5:40 reservation and sat them. When she returned I asked her why we were not sat since we had an earlier reservation and were there on time. She told me our table was still occupied. I asked her why the 5:40 reservation was seated and if it was because she knew them. She pretty much ignored the question. We were finally seated around 5;45 and I realized why we were skipped. The 5:40 reservation was seated in a very nice table and we were seated at a corner table where I was bumped into about 15 times. I wanted to talk to a manager after dinner, but conveniently nobody was around when we were leaving. This will be the last time patronizing this establishment for this treatment. Food always great service was great as well. Out waitress tonight is retiring. Didn’t get her name but we wish her a long and happy retirement!
Dined outside since we arrived without a reservation. Friday night was busy. The wait between ordering and arrival of food was pretty long. Thank goodness for the galic knots!!! Definitely order the knots!! Delish.
