We've been ordering from Marcos for over 7 years. Two orders ago we found a hair in our pizza. Called and was comped a free pizza. When we took advantage of the offer the pizza was pretty good. Tonight we ordered a Pepperoni Magnifico with onions and light crust. Greasy is an understatement. The milk crate I had them leave it on was coated in grease that was seeping through the pizza box. We had to place the box on paper towels on the counter and those paper towels became saturated with grease. Gross. I'm done. Hands down the greasiest pizza I have ever eaten in my life. No more.
Got a deluxe pizza last night and did not order it with extra cheese. When it was picked up my wife made a comment that there was way to much cheese on it and no one said anything. The pizza tasted too cheesy and even seemed watery. We had a problem with the cheese a while ago but then only started ordering on full moon special and the pizzas were always great. Also found out that Lisa is no longer there so doubt we will be returning. Appears that on off nights there is no management on duty to supervise.
The pizza was decent, but the delivery experience was very disappointing. I placed an order for delivery and was told that it would arrive in 47 minutes later. When it never arrived, I re-checked the website, and saw that the restaurant had changed the order for in-store pickup. I call to sort it out, and was told that the delivery driver had returned to store after an unsuccessful delivery attempt. The pizza was then sent out again and finally delivered, and when question, the driver explained that he had originally waited 15 minutes at the wrong address before returning to the store.In the end, I waited over an hour to receive a cold pizza, because they were unable to deliver to the correct address, nor to double-check or communicate with me.
Will not be back. I'm new to engle wood and thought I found a great pizza place. The pizza is amazing! We order an extra large and usualy have about 4 slices left. For later A few days ago we ordered an extra large 4 toppings Togo since we rented a movie. Usually dine in and have a beer. XL 4 toppings isn't cheap. Got home and ate the first piece and we both agreed something wasn't right. Upon further inspection, there was little to no sauce on the pizza. Gave my dog a piece and tossed the rest. Spoke with the manager and offered a half off pizza. I said no thanks as I didn't feel we got what we paid for the first time. I said we just won't be back. He said if that's how u feel and hung up. Long story short I discovered mammas Italian has extremely good pizza just as good if not better. For a great price. Marcos has potential, just try ur pizza before u get home
Really not bad for the money and it didn't make me sick (sensitive belly) so I was pleased. Got a thin crust bacon pizza. They do sales on the full moon which is unique... pretty cool honestly lol ... And surprisingly they had a very clean restroom.
She forgot something in the order and,even though we said she did not have to, she went back to Marcos to get it and also brought a coupon for a free Pizza!
Our pizza was made do order and delicious.There were four employees in the store. There was a lot of yelling back and forth, not only about ongoing orders, but also complaints regarding customers in the drive-thru. For example, telling everyone how understaffed they felt. If there was a manager available, they did not take the bull by the horns and handle the situation at hand, they joined in on the situation. I found it not only annoying, but rude. Maybe a quick class on decorum is needed by this staff. Makes me wonder they might say about folks who are there to pick up orders or who decide to eat in.
Well, I am sure I would have given a lot more stars if I would have actually stayed to eat some pizza. There were not so many people, but the wait was so very long. We were seated for a while, and when we realized how long it took to even get our order in, we left. We got to eat a store bought pizza we baked at home instead!
This is the best pizza ever! We eat or carry out a Marco’s Pizza almost every week. They always have specials and you can sign up for e-coupons. Service is usually pretty prompt, but sometimes they are short-staffed because of the pandemic, which makes the service a bit slower.
