Awesome spot for lunch/dinner. I tried the ken and barb signature burger with the thin onion rings and couldn't stop eating even after I felt full. That's when you know it's good. The drinks were super tasty as well. Look forward to going back.
Food here is consistently good. Can't say that about every restaurant! Tonight we had their juicy, tasty, meaty dry-rub wings - great again. Also had something new on the menu - their burger sliders with pub cheese. They were delicious! The real reason for this review is our server - Kristine H. She was so friendly and full of knowledge about the menu items. We had a great time talking with her, and she was very attentive to our needs. She knows when to bring another drink or when to leave us for a few minutes to peruse the menu. Her smile is awesome! I wish I'd asked her what nights she works because we'd make a point of going to Ken & Barb's on those nights.
We had a great meal and it exceeded our expectations really. We’ve been here before but it has been a while. My pastrami Reuben was awesome, really the best I’ve had. The others’ food was, as usual, great! The onion rings were fantastic again too. Overall very happy.
Actually had a really good experience at this restaurant, except for the fact that they forgot to put in my mother's order. Service was really good, food tasted pretty good, and the atmosphere was great. Prices were kind of high, but you should expect that in this economy, except my beer was reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back to try it again. The only gripes I would have, wings were not hot enough, meaning spice, plus the sides were extremely expensive.
Great wait staff helped me choose my meal and it was excellent salmon! Will go back again for sure

Nice little place along the river in Englewood. Very popular place. The food was good, can't remember what I had as it's been a couple weeks since being there. Sat outside overlooking the water. Nice atmosphere and friendly crew.
Went to Ken and Barbs for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Location on the water is beautiful! Relaxed, casual, airy and spotless indoor space, with lots of room between tables. Beautiful menu, so good luck choosing what to order. My husband s and had the 1/2 lb burger special with thin cut onion rings, and I had the Reuben on the recommendation of our fabulous server Savannah. My husband, the burger, expert, said it’s one of the best he’s ever had. My Reuben was one of the best I’ve had, and I order them everywhere. Fries were hand cut, hot and crispy. House wine was $3! Highly recommend this fabulous new spot, and ask to sit in Savannah’s section for the best service ever!
Had lunch at Ken and Barb's today and was absolutely shocked and so very pleasantly surprised to see watermelon wedges listed on the sides menu. Kudos to this restaurant for serving something other than french fries!! What a novel idea. If only other restaurants would follow suit. Thank you!
