They had the freshest seafood. Told us how to prepare what we weren’t sure how to make. Great one on one service! My favorite was calamari.
To be fair, I will comment on the positive as well as the negative.What I appreciated:The shrimp I purchased were reasonably priced for size and freshness, most of them even still alive by the time I got home (which is noteworthy as shrimp don't even live for a day once caught). When I purchased the shrimp at mid day, I told the owner that if they got any blue crabs that afternoon that he could call me and I would happily come back and purchase any amount he'd caught.What I found distasteful:When the owner called me to say they had brought back three blue crabs (one large, two small; almost too small to legally harvest) I agreed to come back to buy them. I had given my word. I was charged $18.20 for these three crabs, two of which yielded about a teaspoon each of meat, being small females.I was willing to overlook the ethical dilemma of buying small females. I regret it now, but I admit that I was complicit in buying them.What is distasteful was being charged triple (not an exaggeration) the price of the crabs, most likely because the owner noticed I had an Indiana phone number after I made the first purchase from him. Assuming I was a tourist, I imagine, he was willing to gouge a respectful and appreciative customer for cheap, short money, and not feel an ounce of regret over it.It appears that Island Court specializes in gouging tourists, which granted is a pretty standard business model. But knowing that I was willfully abused despite trying to be accommodating to a local business is why I choose to give a 1-star review.I find this type of business to be abhorrent and shameful, reflecting poorly on the community, and I regret having contributed to it. No business that caters to tourists needs to be so hateful. I will never purchase from them again, nor do I recommend you do so. Their competitors offer similar quality seafood for the same price, and much less dishonesty.

Don't recommend. They sold me dead blue crabs. Billy told me he had eaten blue crabs 4 days after they had died.I stated I only want live crabs. He gave me a bag with ice on top of the crabs and the ones on top were alive but when I got home the rest were dead.
Who doesn't love fresh fish? I input the directions into Google and arrived tout suite since I was staying on the key. If I didn't have Google, I would have totally missed it on the right side of the road after the roundabout. There's enough parking for maybe two cars max, or one Escalade haha. They take credit cards! They had a selection of fresh and frozen fish. Two very lovely people helped this big city girl figure it out. I probably got more than I needed but you know how it is when you are on vacation...the world is your oyster ba dump bump. Got two pounds of fresh jumbo Key West shrimp for $37.42, 100 clams for $40.00, and 2.46 lbs of black grouper for $73.78. Also bought a spicy cocktail sauce for $7.95. They were very patient answering my questions about how to store, how long each item would last, etc. I'm looking forward to dinner tonight!! Thank you, Island Court!
Fresh seafood.. was recommended to us. I do the same for you.. If you want cook your own seafood come get some fresh here!!
Love that my 3 yr old granddaughter helped me by pulling the eyes off cause her Pops takes her fishing with him and she's been baiting her own fishing pole before she was even 2!!!
Very fresh, but pricey
My Wife and I Bought 5 Pounds of Stone Crab Today. We bought 3 Pounds of Large and 2 Pounds of Medium. Stone Crab is not Cheap, But as the old saying goes, You get what you pay for. And you sure do, They we’re the Best Crab Meat we have ever had.The Lady at the front desk was Amazing to deal with, Very Helpful and Friendly.I would highly recommend going toIsland Court Seafood for your next purchase ofFresh Seafood.Thanks Island Court for making my Dads 73rd Birthday Supper Perfect.
5.5 pound Grouoer filet, hour and half old.. stunning, delicious fish!! So freindly people!!!!
