A wonderful experience from the time we walked in the door and were greeted by the owner until we left. My first time but is now my favorite restaurant in Englewood. Nice selection of food and drinks but the best thing about it is the ambiance. The entertainment was great and it was just a fun environment to be in. Not a long wait for a table as in no wait. I love the schnitzel but the Hungarian goulash is what I'm ordering next time.
went with a party of 6 one person had the salmon which he really enjoyed four of us had schnitzel which we loved now to my other nfrien she also had schnitzel which she hated go figure i highly recommend this place
While visiting friends this week, they raved about the Old-World Vienna Schnitzel (pounded pork, lightly breaded and pan fried) entree. We ordered it with the mushroom glaze, mashed potatoes, and vegetable medley. It was all so delicious that we cleaned our plates. Our waitress Karen was sweet and attentive. Both the manager and then the owner stopped at our table to confirm that we were enjoying our meals. We could not have been more pleased with our dinners. Great schnitzel but limited drink menu and slow service. Live music was entertaining but there was unfortunately a cover charge on a Wednesday night we decided to skip out on and just sit outside instead. A bit pricey but a good atmosphere overall.
Very fun night listening to a great band. Wait staff was wonderful always attentive and knew when to reappear. We had the salmon and the veal, both were very tasty. We will definitely be back!
Went antique hunting and found this place. Loved the decor and the staff. Cindy made us comfortable and laugh.Food was good and plenty of it.Filthy martini was perfect.
This was our first time at Englewoods. We loved it! We sat out back in the open air dining area. They have it set up really nice with a small pond and beautiful tree growing up through the middle. Rick, our waiter made us feel right at home. We even had a chance to meet the owner and share a couple laughs...he has a great personality! The food was delicious...both dinner and dessert. We will be back!
