Had the fish and chips, was very good couldn't even eat it all!
Have eaten there three times now. Each time a different dinner. Fish & chips, burger and onion rings with chowder. All very good and the wait service is very nice. Even though they can be busy the food came quickly. Last time we got there close to closing time but they still took good care of us
This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants, but I live out of town, and it's always pretty busy when I go by so I don't come here often. I had the fish and shrimp combination platter this afternoon. It came with three huge filets of cod and four or five very large shrimp and a mountain of fries and coleslaw. I love the batter. It's light and crispy and always cooked just right. The shrimp were really tender. And the food came out nice and hot. Cali was my server and was friendly and attentive and even offered to bring me a second plate because the food was piled so high on the platter it came on there was no way to eat it without it falling off the plate. It's a nice small, laid back, local kind of place, and they seemed genuinely happy that I came in.
Great value! Nothing fancy, just solid good food and service at a good price. Had to wait 30 mins. to get a table(real small place), but has a nice Tiki with a bar which happens to be were you wait for your table. Not sure why they don’t serve food in the Tike/bar area?♂️. Perhaps they don’t have the help to wait additional tables. I had the grouper fish sandwich pictured… very good & generous portion. My wife enjoyed the shrimp basket. Give them a try, we plan on stopping by the next time we’re in the area.
Use to be our favorite restaurant. Beware their online menu on their website is what they said old. Thier two piece fish and chips is now 14.99 and last year it was 11.99. Their cheese burger and fries also went up a lot. They didn't let us know this. We went off of their menu and were very surprised when we saw that our total cost for a meal was over 24.00 more altogether than what we paid last year when we ordered the same thing! I understand inflation but this is just ridiculous! Also the quality and portions have gone down. Fish portions were MUCH smaller and fries were stale. Coleslaw was very runny. We would come all the way from North Port to order food there. Not anymore and will definitely let out friends know as well. Update your website menu!
Exceptional food, huge servings, friendly staff. No ambiance but the food makes up for it!
Not fancy and not much atmosphere but the coconut shrimp is to die for. The batter mushrooms are incredible. This is such a great local place. We hate to share a review because we want to claim this as a local place.
Had a late lunch and it was excellent portions were large prices were good. The server was excellent, refilled drinks at the right time and was friendly.

Our family has eaten here many times with average service but the food is decent so we typically don’t mind. Today, there was a mix up with our pick up order, causing it to be substantially more expensive than expected. No apology or option to resolve the issue was given. The woman I spoke with simply stated the food was already made and I was expected to pay for what I “ordered”. She blamed me entirely, though I believe it was a mutual misunderstanding that could have easily been avoided. A simple apology for her part in the misunderstanding would have been enough resolution for me, but the only thing she offered was rude behavior. I’m left with such a bitter taste from the poor treatment, we will certainly not return. Two stars because the coconut shrimp is tasty and perhaps the employee we dealt with was just having a bad day.
