This place keeps getting better and better. We had Sunday brunch. Love the mimosas. Service was fantastic ?. Food came out super fast, hot ready to eat. Huge portions. My wife had Red Neck Benedict and I had the Frittata. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to going back soon. Cheers.
This little place near the water was fantastic! The staff were great, friendly and accommodating. They didn't have fried pickles on the menu and when we asked, they made them on the fly for us and they were amazing. All of the food was fantastic, not typical bar food, the pork wings were out of this world, not a typo, a real thing. There's even a seating area on the rooftop with views of the water. I can't say enough good things about this place, the atmosphere was welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. 10/10 going back there next time I'm in Florida visiting.
Limited menu upstairs so I asked if I could go downstairs to order to go and bring it up here and they told me no. And frankly didn’t care our entire party left. So will take my business to someone that wants it. My point was not about being short staffed. I understand that. Mine was how we were treated and yes that reflects a one star. Ordering from the kitchen downstairs is no more pressure than if we dined downstairs. We want your business to succeed and we want to be treated respectfully as we are respectful of your staff.
I want to say 10 stars! Phenomenal service and food. I don't know where to start. Right from the get-go, Jessica was so friendly and totally on it. She had great suggestions and a great personality. Loved the Tropical salad, fish and chips and the pulled pork which is smoked in-house. The best fish&chips and salad! Great drink selection and the bartender knows her craft!
I love the roof deck!! I had had a bad experience at a tavern down the street and was recommended to try the roof deck at Rusty Lyon. I am glad I did and will be a regular from now on!
Such amazing food, great staff, awesome atmosphere. We've been here twice in 2 weeks and just love this place. Highly recommend! Burgers are delicious!
Our server was great however, the dinner was a bust. Drinks were ok, but they were running out of everything. This was a Friday evening dinner service, not one of our burgers were cooked to temp properly after an hour and a half of being seated. I did not bother the manager because they were clearly under staffed. Everyone working seemed extremely stressed. People at other tables were walking out. I understand this could have been an off night. But, I would not go back for food.
Lots to chose from in this lively part of Dunedin. Rusty Lyon is a very friendly pub with outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor. Good vibe in the bar and restaurant for families and couples, younger crowd upstairs. We had burgers and beer, both very good. Good sides as well. We will be back. Service the night we came was outstanding.
Service was good. Waaaay over priced for the quality and served warm at best. Burgers are not great and buns not fresh nor warmed or toasted. So many better options. Blessed to have an amazing partner that can make sub par burger date night swoon worthy.Response to management: Not sad!! Did you not read my full review? I was enjoying date night ;) no time for chit chat. I feel like this is what review systems are in place for. Do you expect your patrons to stop having a good time to assist you in doing your job? You can do better. While I appreciate you taking time to respond so quickly it's sad that this time was not spent overseeing the kitchen. Take the feedback, make corrections, stop bullying your customers when they leave negative feedback.
