Great local BBQ - if you are in the Dunedin area & need some good food - this is the place to go!! Amazing brisket & you have to try the nachos!!
Food is so delicious ? Band on Saturdays with live music. Nice to sit outside and people watch while listening to music ? ? .
Atmosphere is good, staff is friendly, good was good, and an added bonus is the patio is dog friendly. The only thing I wasn't a fan of (and some people may love) was they seem to try and put a twist/ extra flair on many of the dishes. (I.e. Mac and cheese also had a corn salsa added on top). I'm a fan of simple traditional BBQ, but flavor of everything including their sauces, was great.
Wasn't expecting the best BBQ in the world, because it's not coming out of a grungy, screen door slapping, smoker outback having, old as the hills building...but I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. It may not be the best barbecue, but it's great food. The pork was tender, the sauce was decent and the rolls were good, the pepper relish was my favorite thing about the sandwich. The slaw was good, but not what I want with BBQ, it was "fancy" as my daughter said ?. The slaw was sweet and had apples, and was actually delicious. The fries were hand cut and delicious, but the onion rings were crazy good! Huge, fat cut, sweet onions in a peppery crispy coating. We all loved them. My husband had the smoked pastrami, of course I stole a bit, and it melted in my mouth. They have some fun cocktails, and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is welcoming and seating comfortable. A definite place to try I'm downtown Dunedin.
Food was okay not fantastic. I guess Florida just has lower standards for bbq. Looked good on a plate but overall lacking in flavor. We are here on vacation from Texas and definitely would not go again. To each there own and maybe it's someone else's cup of tea.
Awesome BBQ! Food and atmosphere were both amazing. We came with a larger group and got seated right away. Had some of the spicy BBQ and it was great. If you like corned beef, you have to order their Montreal beef, some of the best corned beef I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Drinks were good as well, a little on the weaker side, but they still tasted good.
This place couldn't have been better. I asked the server for food recommendations and took his advice and tried the brisket sandwich. It wasn't what I expected but so much better. It was sliced and extremely tender. I used their own smokey sauce which was also very good. We received great service. Only minor issue is that the keg kicked so I couldn't get my first beer choice.
Great place to get some reasonably priced barbecue in the heart of the Downtown Dunedin area. The pulled pork sandwiches and brisket chili nachos never disappoint, and are my personal go-to with a side of their sweet potato fries. Tap beer selection switches up every so often, but I've no idea how often. TVs always have a game on, but rarely they will switch it up and have something else on. Live music is occasionally played, great when you can catch it. Personally I recommend indoor seating during the day, but at night the outdoor area is just an incredible place to sit.
Had the pulled pork sandwich and tasted good but was cold. I had the pork belly burger which was very good but not hot. Sweet potatoe fries not hot either. Service was so so at best. Maybe stop talking to the 2 guys at the bar and the food might come out hot.
Best smoked wings I ever had. They are tender, dry rub has a good blend to it. Honeymoon Island Iced Tea was delicious. Great beer selection. Employees were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back soon.
