Best sushi place around! We moved from Dunedin about 30-45 minutes away and still make the drive to eat Jose’s sushi. Highly recommend to all!!

We love this place, small, cozy and nice. Staff is very polite and friendly. Sushi is excellent and very fresh. We would highly recommend this place to family or friends or anyone looking for good sushi.

**Edit** Second time ever stopping by here (29OCT21). Stopped in as my son got to pick for getting his permit. Once again, it did not disappoint. Great food, great atmosphere. They'll make you feel at home.I had read the reviews and decided to stop in and try it since it's a close local place. My son and I had dinner tonight trying a few different rolls. He's big into sushi but I'm still fairly selective with it, especially raw rolls. We had 6 rolls and there wasn't one that I didn't like. Very nice inside, and very attentive service, and great presentation. Great little place that I have driven by nearly everyday and didn't even notice it but now we'll definitely be back. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Great atmosphere with some of the best sushi I have ever had. Definitely check this place out!

Darn good sushi. Small place but nice atmosphere.

Delicious!!! ?Here from out of town we got a carryout very good food.

Love the food, love the chef. He knows what you like. Excellent taste and presentation.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. First, we arrived on time for our 7:15 reservation. We sat around for 20 minutes until the lone server finally came up and got us drinks and took our order. My wife ordered one California roll, we ended up with two. I ordered the chicken, and after 30 minutes they come out and say they can’t make it but can make chicken tenders.... fine. Another 30 minutes goes by and now the rest of the table has gotten their sushi, drinks and ate. I’m not sure if they were trying to find a chicken or what. After nearly an hour and 45 minutes, I finally had enough of waiting and left, after multiple excuses of “oh we’re waiting on fried rice”To the owner, if you can’t make something, don’t sell it. Pretty simple, really, and I would have understood.

First time here, sat at the bar, and enjoyed it very much! Very small but quaint restaurant where you are able to talk to the sushi chef and cooks all at once! Took a pic of the shrimp and vegetable tempura, which was filling in itself, forgot to take pics of the amazing sushi rolls! We will definitely return!

I initially fought with leaving a review because I can’t review a restaurant I couldn’t eat at. We went tonight, 6/16/21, after reading all the good reviews but the restaurant was all locked up. We got there at 6:30 and it says they were open at 5. I will update this review once we are able to eat there but I’m putting this here so you all know that they might be closed.
