Great spot for cappuccino and breakfast! David is a superior owner and gives you individual attention…highly recommend on your next trek through Dunedin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #lovedunedin #lovewhereyoulive
I love this place and it is one of my frequent spots in town. The owners are so sweet and I love their pastries, especially the lemon bar. Coffee is great. Atmosphere is so nice. I come here to do work but once in a while I"ll bring a friend and we will enjoy coffee and breakfast. I'm able to be in a shaded area, work quietly, and have a place to hook up my laptop. Its really nice to get out of the house and have a wonderful place to do my online work! Ty!
Our group of three originally intended to have brunch at Iris around the corner, but the 45 minute wait was too long for us. So, we set out to see what else might be available, went around the corner and found Sandpiper. We were seated immediately on the patio. I had the tropical turkey sandwich which was served warm, loaded with turkey and other goodies. My wife had the Sandpiper Special sandwich, and our friend has the BMT omelet. All the food was excellent. The only downside for the restaurant is that they have a single toilet. So, plan ahead if you think you will need to go in a hurry.
The food was so delicious! And the chai latte was perfect. The breakfast potatoes were the best I've ever had. Very friendly staff. The only issue I had which wasn't a big deal is that it was my first time there and I didn't know we had to seat ourselves. I don't know if I missed a sign or something. No big deal though, we soon found a waiter that told us what to do.
Very neat and quiet place to go in the morning for coffee and breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. The food was very good. Definitely will come back.
We find theSandpiper by accident and I’m so glad we did! Food and service were great. The sandpiper has a chill. keys vibe. We will be back!
Sandpiper was in plain sight but far above and further in than any coffee shop we visited in Dunedin. First and foremost they are a roaster which took us so much deeper into our experience. The coffee was fresh in every way.The menu was full of variety of a distinct sort. The intention in the presentation allowed us to find our own way. The muffin and fruit welcomed my wife into the day ahead. My Beef on Weck was like a breakfast the day after a wedding, savory and full of flavor. It was a great start to a day of walking. In fact we walked down the alley from the Meranova B&B. We walked to the Bike Path and on down to the intracoastal. It was amazing.Stop by and enjoy a fresh roast.
I have eaten at the Sandpiper about 6 times over the last few weeks, it's nice, nothing flash but the food has flavour and tastes good. The drip coffee is ok but the flat white isn't a flat white and i don't recommend... Today i sat enjoying my lunch and was listening to others as they got up to go, chatting about how much they loved this place and who they really must bring there and how delicious their lunches were. This really made me smile. The owner has succeeded in creating a simple menu that works in a nice environmnt with sensible staff. Well done David! ( i know his name because a few ladies shouted good bye to him as they left, enjoying the fact they knew the boss!)
Super sweet staff, delicious variety of foods! I’m obsessed with breakfast Cuban croissants ? & the Benedict! Pet friendly and overall a gem place to checkout
