A vintage feel to the atmosphere once inside. The staff was very attentive and eager to offer suggestions. The food, the food, it was the food!! Savory, well-seasoned, tender, and warm to the touch.(See below)Thank you Katy for the great customer service!
We went here for my birthday. The staff was super friendly, and they have a great patio that allows you to bring your dog. We ordered the lobster corn fritter appetizer and Mediterranean salad as starters, both were fantastic. They also had a great selection of beer and cocktails. We had brisket and ribs for our meal everything was cooked great and their Carolina BBQ was awesome. The inside is really nice, plus they have a lot of baked goods as well. They gave me a free dessert for my birthday and one of the cooks gave my dog some meat scraps. It was a wonderful time out with the family. Thank you.
I'm not a giver of five stars but I am giving five stars this time.Have driven past this place a number of times and decided today will be the day we stopped in. I am glad that we did because that atmosphere decor and employees were all excellent. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived which was about 3 p.m. The entrance was actually off the main road. It was ample parking back which is actually the front. Once entering you are greeted with these amazing looking desserts. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered a couple of mocktails and our food. The first plate was a salmon with broccoli and carrots. Salmon was delicious and the broccoli was amazing. I really enjoyed the carrots as well. The second meal was a Reuben sandwich. It isn't like a New York deli Reuben which I am used to. The pastrami was smoked very nicely. I had a side order of collard greens which were also delicious. We shared an order of sweet potato fries which were good and crispy. The whole restaurant was very clean and the bathroom was as well.
This is easy to miss on a busy street. Parking in rear if is busy hard to find parking. Bbq is dood they have a small kid’s menu. The bbq beans are delicious and it’s dry rubbed bbq that you add the sauce to. There’s a large dessert selection and a decent sampling of micro beers. It might be me or the time it was a little on the expensive side but definitely good bbq not the sweet over sauced kind.
We had a large family lunch here recently. The staff was very efficient and friendly taking our orders and getting our drinks to us. We shared the smoked fish fish spread, it was as good as a Pass-a-Grille institution we loved for their smoked fish spread. Some of our other family enjoyed brisket fries, and raved over them as well. I had the southern chicken sandwich which had spicy pimento cheese for its condiment. It was a generous portion, so I took some back to the hotel with me to enjoy later. Many of my family had the salmon salad and they too said it was wonderful. It seems as if this is a Florida-based restaurant, too bad I live in Texas. I'd love to have more of their great food in the near future.
Don't be fooled by what you see on Main St. The "back" which really the front entrance is on the other side. They have a HUGE parking lot - love it. We were greeted by a friendly/smiling hostess who seated us in a great corner booth (we didn't even have to asked to be moved there). Our waiter "Freddie" (see pic) was awesome, very friendly, answered multiple questions and didn't rush us. He was great. The menu (see tge pic) is pretty cool and eclectic - you better love meat although there are other options. I had the Brisket Fries and my wife had the Glazed Salmon salad. The food was very good. They have a huge bar with lots of options and also outdoor dining. If you want something different, give this place a try - we'll be back!
Food is perfection but the service isn't. Our host seemed like she had better things to do, she wasn't rude but wasn't welcoming at the same time. Everything we ordered we loved. The Cuban egg rolls, tacos, something shrimp pasta, it was all great.
Delicious! Drinks and food were amazing.Didn’t realize how large the proportions of the appetizers were, so we ended up with plenty of left overs. Just one appetizer and drinks would have been plenty for my husband and I to share. This place is a must try!
We had been wanting to try this place for a while and were disappointed. There is really nothing special about it. The menu could be just about any restaurant as there is nothing that really stands out as a specialty. Steaks, BBQ, chicken sandwich, just ordinary with a big price tag. There is no option for a side salad and bread is not offered before the meal arrives. 2 of us had 6oz. filet and 1 had the meatloaf which was more like one large meatball and it had a hint of heat which was undesirable. We wish that would have been mentioned as not everyone can tolerate heat. The onion straws that came with it were greasy and not crisp like others we've had. The filets were cooked to temperature but they were thin, almost pounded. My filet was lukewarm as the butter on top was not melting. The fried cornbread fritter was interesting but lacked flavor. Our bill without any alcoholic beverages (we had tea and lemonade) was over $80. We got one $3.25 cookie as dessert. Unfortunately, this is not an $85+ tip restaurant for 3 people. While the service was outstanding, we won't be back for the food.
the Cajun BBQ shrimp with linguini was absolutely awesome. would definitely order that again. service was also really good.
