This place was pop'n. I loved music by a wonderful woman playing classic rock hits as we walked in. If not for the heat and the glorious A/C we would have stayed with the music.We sat at the sushi bar as usual. The two chefs were churning out mad quantities of beautiful rolls. I wish I had snagged a photo but we were hungry. I did take a pic of the special app they had which was on fire.They could use matcha iced tea. The sweet green tea they had was a bit lame.All in all we enjoyed the experience.
1st and not the last time. Fried avocado really good not heavy. Miso soup...nice big bowl taste good. Grouper tacos with a blue corn tortilla 4 out of 5 yummm and the fire dragon roll was Spidey and delicious. Coming back for the Mofongo Bongo!Oh? Back and still good!
Overall really great sushi! There were lot of roll options and we decided to pick 10 out between the 3 of us. We were able to do some damage but there was a lot of food there! Some of the vegetarian rolls were interesting and some of our favorites from the entire meal. Fast and friendly service made this a place that will become a regular visit for us
Really fun energy and classy sushi at Pieces of Dunedin. Not a big place, but a fun bar, few tables, sushi bar and a good amount of outdoor seating. They sometimes have entertainment outside too. A great date night spot, we just prefer not to take the kids here due to menu and vibe, plus it's more relaxing without them!We enjoyed a yummy berry mojito and fried gyoza, followed by a volcano roll with real blue crab and a huge Manhattan roll. All the food was delicious and expertly garnished. We will be back for sure.
THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! I have been searching for my sushi place somewhere near Clearwater where I am and I finally found it! The quality is fantastic, flavors are SO GOOD, the service was amazing and overall just an amazing experience! The blueberry pineapple mule was on the specials menu but I would come here just to drink that by itself, hands down my favorite alcoholic drink ever! Also, the edamame was THE BEST edamame I’ve ever had!!! I’m usually so let down by edamame being not cooked right, not even seasoned with at least salt or just basic but they got it DOWN here. I ate the whole bowl by myself which I never do! They’ll be seeing me much more! My waitress was also so great and kind! 10 out of 10 experience! <3
Great atmosphere and selection of rolls. Waitress was rather awesome too. A bottle of Nigori really hot the spot too. Usually not a fan of crazy rolls, preferring the more basic ones, but the Shaggy Dog (if I remember correctly) was pretty damn tasty. Looking forward to going back soon!
Very good selection of Sushi and what we ordered was excellent. The outdoor seating area fronts the street and can be a bit noisy but is a good "people watching" area.
Our first trip last night for our anniversary. Absolutely fantastic! Delicious sushi. Excellent service (Vinny did a great job) and the place was packed. Can't wait to go back again for more!
What a wonderful meal we had. The staff is very good and attentive. Would highly recommend it to anyone !!! We will be going back again.
This is my #1 go to Restaurant in Dunedin! I haven’t been in a while because I told myself I should try more restaurants but this place NEVER disappoints!Today I ordered the surf and turf roll it was a special and the Mofongo roll and they were both absolutely amazing. My usual I always order is the Pink panther roll but I wanted to switch it up and be able to give you guys a well rounded review.I got my favorite Coconut lemongrass Sake ? as well and it is a delicious creamy coconut flavored Sake that’s great if you e never tried Sake before.This place is an absolute MUST ESPECIALLY if you are a Sushi person. I love this place. You need to put this on your list of solid choice consistent restaurants!
