Very casual, laid back atmosphere, huge outdoor area. Overflowing drinks. No plates, so prepare yourself to eat out of styrofoam takeout containers, but the food was good and plentiful.
Great time as always despite the rain showers on this 4th of July weekend.
Eddie was our server and he was AWESOME! We had quick service and the variety of food, a cod sandwich, reubens, and chicken wings. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great! Definitely recommend!
I was very displeased with the type of service we were met with when we arrived. We came by boat to bring friends from out of town, to have drinks and some lunch. I have a service animal "dog" that was with us. A gentleman met us at the gate saying no pets were allowed which is common so I showed him the pets credentials that he was a working service animal. He still tried to deny us service because of the dog. He is federally protected and is federally allowed to accompany me anywhere I go. He finally let us sit down after this issue at the gate. Once we sat he came over to the table 3 times harassing us about the dog he was obviously on a mission to kick us out. The dog never barked or bothered anyone. The dog alerted me that it was time to go to the bathroom to take care of a personal issue, while standing in line the guy approached again and said the dog must stay under the table, again he is a service animal. I did not catch his name but he was a taller dark toned gentleman. Being that Dunedin is a very dog friendly community one would think they would not be so crazy about this. I'm contemplating on making a formal complaint to the ADA on this business for discrimination.
Really good/fun place to visit in Dunedin, Florida. Where all of the locals go. Daily specials, great service, and good prices.
Great location and prices.
- Almost gave 4 stars because: I just really wish they didn’t use styrofoam and plastic cups, and it’s weird there’s no prices for drinks and some market priced food.+ Great atmosphere with live guitar music on Saturday around sunset, great view, free sunset shots. Key lime pie was amazing, the local 8 margarita was good, the hot market shrimps were huge and juicy, mahi tacos were a bit dry but fish was good.
Cozy spot that gives tourists the feel of a locals only place. The fair is typical bar food but the Key Lime pie is killer. The service was great and the drink were cold and just right. Make sure you get there for the sunset shot.
Very lively place at sunset with music and a full view of the water.
On my bike exploring, after getting dumped on at High and Dry Grill, I give Marker 8 a shot. So glad I did. Belly up to the bar for a beer, server was Laura who was exceptionally nice and friendly. Promptly served, nice atmosphere, cool vibe. Stick around for the Chicken Cordon Blue bites and another beer. Enjoyable stop on my ride. Will definitely go back and recommend.
