I ordered a tank top from this restaurant over a month ago. Gave my number to call when they came in. Never got a call. I called and they were in. I asked the price and was told it was $15 by a woman who appeared to be a manager or owner and explained I would be in that afternoon. When I arrived the woman I spoke to now said they were $25. I stated that I was told a few hours prior they were $15. She argued with me although I had the chance to say little few words as she approached me with a horrible attitude. She said. I’ll take the shirt if your not gonna pay the price. I handed it to her and said. Take the shirt with that attitude. And so wow. Blown away by the lack of customer service or lack of honor with her price quote to me. I will never go to this place again Not even for ice. Too bad though because all of the workers there and servers are super sweet and helpful. Hoping to see an under new management sign and then I’ll be back.
Best homemade WI recipe brats hands down. Delicious! And they have KILLER Bloody Mary’s. And to top,it off you get a great view.
If it wasn't for Bella, my culinary assistant aka flight attendant aka server, I would have gone home! Now, I want to buy the place! Jk ?The service and the food and especially the ambiance was incredible! I enjoyed every second of the experience and I hope to become a regular! Highly, highly recommend! Can't beat warm tropical breezes and a cold beer ?
I'm not a local but frequent the area often. There are a ton of great places to eat around, but this spot always feels like the right one to revisit. Stunning views, incredible food (especially for such a small kitchen), always super friendly and sunshine-y staff that really lend themselves to the vibe. All I want to do when I visit is sit with a cold beer in hand, look out over the water and watch for dolphins and this spot never fails. The perfect oasis after kayaking or exploring the islands, or soaking up the sun.
What happened to High and Dry? We have always had a great time hear and visit often given we live in walking distance. We went there today for drinks and some food but were never served. It was not that crowded, we were seated right away but we sat as the servers took orders from groups that came in after us. In fact 1 group received their food and no one had even acknowledged our presence. There is a sign outside that says they are hiring for all positions. I understand why. Service was great in the past which we recognized with minimum 60% cash tips. I'll go back but if the same servers are there I will not go in.Food and drinks are great but the current staff is terrible!
So I ride my bike (long ride) specifically to get a beer and maybe an appetizer here. Hostesses seats me promptly and places a flag with a number on it by me. Not crowded at all, it’s around 4:00 pm. So I look over the menu, play on my phone, no server. Watch three of them walk by, one looks at me like I got three heads, whatever, still no service. Wait longer just to get a beer order in, nothing. Good enough, I pack up and leave, totally ridiculous. The worst part is , the hostess and server looking and laughing at me as I walk down the ramp on my way out. Nice, real professional. Service is everything, no excuse. Thumbs down.
Enjoyed drinks and snacks in the sunshine next to the water. Background music added to the pleasant atmosphere. Waitressing service was great. Ordered one cooked dish and one cold dish......they came out at greatly different times. Would be better if two customers could eat at the same time. Food was good but would avoid the shrimp cocktail next time as it's not a cocktail.....it's shrimps on ice with dip. A cocktail by definition must have more than one ingredient. Tasted like frozen not fresh shrimps. Having said that, I would go back again, the fried shrimps were good. Go here and enjoy it's a nice place.
Came out here to Dunedin and wanted to have lunch right on the water. This is the perfect casual spot for it. Fish sandwich, shrimp tacos and fish sticks were flavorful. Prices were very reasonable!
Usually the place is good and has great service, however not today. I don't always leave reviews however having to wait 32 minutes to have someone take my order, especially on a slow day when there were only around 8 people total, is not good. I understand companies being short staffed, but when there aren't many people in the place and it is a slow day there shouldn't be an excuse to not at least greet someone and at least give them a menu. Had to ask someone for their menu.Other than that the food is great and the host was very nice.
Awesome place to watch the sunset! Good food, drinks and people. I had the fish tacos, nice, fresh and tasty. Onion rings a good too.
