I ate here for the first time during the grand opening week in November 2021. I'm glad the dining room is now open and I personally have not had a bad experience at this location. Fries are always nice and hot and the subs are always prepared correct. I visit this location quite regularly, before 5pm, at least once a month but usually more frequent than that.
We've been to this location a couple of times now - and went back a few days ago. The food is delicious and they use high quality ingredients. It's a bit pricier than we're used to, but the portions make up for it - we order the large (full-size) sandwiches and end up taking half home for a second meal later. What's especially outstanding though is the customer service. They are polite and very considerate and seem to honestly care that every customer is satisfied with their food.
The bread was fresh and so was the steak and all the rest. So tasty. I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich (bun), but there were others to choose from. I took the drive through rather than go in.
Great tasting fries and the rest of the grub isnt bad as long as you are expecting fast food sandwich type food. Wish the children wasn't sliced so thin but in chunks by it it tasted good when I ate there. The one inside tries to go after an urban look atmosphere. Dining room was clean, bathroom so, so, especially for a new place.
Tried this place tonight and was disappointed. The small cheese steak was about 6" very very dry and steak was tasteless. The only thing that I enjoyed were the French fries. They were lukewarm but not bad overall. I'll stick with the Dunedin favorite DELCO'S. DELCO'S cheese steaks are truly made to order. They are most and juicy and the steak is awesome along with the roll. The DELCO'S fries are far superior. I spent $11.00 for a small sandwich and fries at Charley's when at DELCO'S I get a full sandwich and large bag of the most delicious fries for the same price. The only reason I have Charley's a two start rating was because of their French fries although I don't know what is gourmet about them.
When you pay $14.28 for a combo meal of a 9” sub, fries and regular size drink you’d think the sub would be at least 1/2 full. The one I received had less inside then a 1.00 burger across the street. Honestly quality sucked compared to Delco’s. Won’t be back. Place was empty at lunch time so that should’ve been my sign to leave.
I give this place less than a year. They clearly didn't do any research, if they'd build a poor quality and expensive Philly cheese steak chain restaurant near Delco's. We gave this a shot because there was a ridiculous line at Wendy's next door. There were 0 cars at Charley's, and now I know why. I paid $8.50 for a small sandwich with no fries and no drink. When I asked for a shake, I was told they couldn't do it. Then, I was given my food with no communication whatsoever. I waited and stared at the woman through the window until she looked at me and gave me a
I’ve been going to the food court in the mall for a long time now just to eat at Charley’s. Usually looking forward to the chicken teriyaki Philly cheese. I was excited to know an independent store location had opened nearby. The lobby was super clean, service was quick and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning customers. While entering the store, an unruly customer was causing a scene and raising his voice. From what I gathered, he came here in a rush and expected the staff to rush to accommodate his tight schedule. The staff was handling this perfectly by reassuring the customer politely that his food was being made and would be done shortly. He was yelling to have a refund and they met his demands and he left.We were next in line to order and the manager was apologizing for the commotion. I’m here to say that I’ve worked years in food service and customer service and you handled it so well. Never getting upset or raising your voice, well done.

Wait time was not excessive, on par with McDonald's if you're getting a quarter pounder or something that is grilled to order. Faster than Wendy's. The cheese steak was excellent. The "meal" was a bit pricey but no so much that I won't go back again. Friendly service. I'd say give them a visit if your looking for something other than the usual drive thru fare.
