One of the best asian restaurants in Miami. The interior is very calming and the aroma soothes the soul. The specialty tea they serve every day is amazing and always melts away any stress of the day. The food is fantastic and makes you feel fantastic too. It’s light and healthy and tastes phenomenal. The staff is very nice and will treat loyal customers kindly. I recommend coming here and trying out the whole menu.
You wouldn't expect to find such food in a no-frlls little strip mall but here it is. Some unusual dishes. The owner provides friendly and courteous service.
Stopped here after seeing good Google reviews while waiting for my flight. Food was good and the owner was lovely to talk to. He really cared about his guests.

There aren't enough good things that can be said about the Red Shallot. I dont usually sit in at small places like these however I would recommend it here. The owners are wonderful people who will explain what you are ordering and make recommendations. They will make dining in a wonderful experience. I recommend asking about the mixed herb drink/tea. It is homemade, fantastic and refreshing. All the food we had was excellent. All round 10/10.
Hungry? I highly recommend trying out this spot. From the moment we walked in Bill greeted us with a smile. The food was on point and you can taste the freshness. Bill gladly took care of us with a bright smile. It's hard to get great service in Miami and this place definitely delivered.
The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming. The food is delicious and comforting. They brew their tea in house and it is AMAZING to drink on a hot day. I had the best experience here and I'm so glad I found it. In regular Chinese restaurants you get a sluggish feel after eating the food but not here at all.
I was having a bad day and decided to try somewhere new for lunch. I went in and the owners were the sweetest angels I've ever met. They served my food within five minutes of ordering.. poured me as much tea as I wanted (weekly special homemade tea) and had conversation with me. The owner Bill was teaching me Chinese and having a nice conversation with me. This place made my day and made me happy. Please support this restaurant and try the delicious food as well, you will not regret it...!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the moment you walk in, the owners are so friendly and welcoming. For how fresh and tasty the food is, prices are very fair and the quality of food is excellent. We had the fried chicken pieces, dumplings, tomato beef stew, teriyaki chicken, and the fresh weekly tea. For such a great combination of prices, service, and food, Red Shallot is easily one of the best places you can find authentic Taiwanese food in this area.
Please do not be thrown off by the perfect reviews as “to good to be true” the Red Shallot is all deserving of such praise. The food is outstanding and the customer service is equally amazing. I always leave here feeling refreshed and energized as the portions are perfect and food tastes as real and authentic as it gets. I strongly suggest The Red Shallot to any Asian food lovers and I hope everyone gets to try this place. 5/5
