BEST PLACE FOR SMALL EVENTS! We hosted a baby shower at Pure Joy and the staff was awesome. From the owner to the waitress, the service has been extremely good. They created a customized menu, provided us with a decoration, flowers, Cellphone standing, and more. It was a really nice experience. They were also very open to accommodate very little request. That is the place to go if you have a small gathering.
Patacón verde with chicken and salad. Empanada made with almond flour with chicken. Amazing healthy food. Our serves Tomas was incredible attended. We will definitively come back to this place when we will visiting again Miami.
This place is amazing! My friend is gluten and dairy free and it’s so hard to find places where we can both eat happily! This place has it all! Tons of gluten free and vegan options! Our server was Diego and if you are lucky enough to get him as well listen to all of his recommendations!!! He recommended the curry for my friend and it was so darn good I ordered it as take out for later!!!
This establishment is colorful & has an airy feel. The place has a lengthy & narrow foot print. The colors, the colors. Feels like you're walking into a cartoon, but in a good way. Colors are clean & neat, inside the anecdotal line. Pure Joy is like Pier 1 Import & Bed Bath & Beyond had a baby. Your sight & smell senses are going to have a field day. QR code menus only, which I can appreciate although we're coming out of the pandemic and viewing menus on a tiny smart phone gets old quickly. We ate in but got served drinks in a plastic cup with lids & straws. Come on PJ! Lets get with the save the environment campaign. Good lunch selections and prices somewhat bearable until you realize some portions are strangely tiny. The food otherwise is delicious. Excellent lemonade. True to form, everything is fresh & tingles your taste buds. Service is from multiple staff members. Kudos to the management ?. Nice clean single use bathroom about wraps it up. ? Free parking in the parking garage. Will definitely come back.
Nice vibe, nice staff, but the food is not well-prepared. My husband and I tried 3 dishes, and each one had something off, such as too much oil or soggy texture. Appreciate the effort to have a healthy menu, but didn’t hit the mark for us. In our opinion, there are much better places to eat vegan or pescatarian in Miami.
The experience here has been amazing! The food, the presentation, the service, simply exceptional!Service is fast and having the possibility to delight a healthy meal just summarizes what an incredible place Pure Joy is!
The place is just lovely and super clean. The food was amazing. Love the variety of gluten free and dairy free options. Will definitely come back again soon to try their breakfast.
Looking for Vegan options for Christmas I found this place, ordered an hallaca for my New Year’s dinner and as I was getting ready to eat my dinner on New Year’s Eve it turned out to be a non vegan hallaca. So I sent a pic at that moment and waited till Monday to call. As soon as I did the owner picked up and apologized, very heart felt she was very embarrassed and even offered to sent to my home two vegan hallacas and of course refund the non vegan one I got by mistake. It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday and since it needs to be kept frozen I had to be home to receive it or it would spoil. Needless to say, it’s Friday and not only did they not send it I still wasn’t issued a refund. Had to call again today to have it done. You can do better.
Where do I begin… I’ve been a vegan for 8 years and seeing the menu for this restaurant made me so excited. They have tons of vegan options. The food, however, is underwhelming and even a bit sickening. We ordered the vegan kikiriki and waffles. All of the “sugar free” labels on the menu were the first red flag— this restaurant focuses too much on “health” but the food isn’t even healthy. We also ordered the forever young and RX immune juices, along with the ice matcha latte. We thought that these could not be messed up, but our juices tasted like nothing— the RX immune had so much turmeric that it tasted like dirt. Everything would be so much better with more sugar (not stevia!), salt, and spices. They don’t use seasonings. Everything tasted like nothing. I am giving 2 stars for the waiters, who were very kind and dealt with our requests for more salt, sugar, and sauces. Other than that, I would not recommend this restaurant to vegans especially. I would suggest that Pure Joy uses REAL organic sugar options! Try organic cane sugar, agave, coconut sugar or natural sugar from fruit
Awesome place and serice( they were short of staff too) good health food!!!
