Quite frankly, I don't understand all the rave reviews. Pretty quiet place. Nice looking place.I ordered the quattro formaggi pizza.I don't want to sound too negative, but this was easily the worse quattro formaggi pizza I've ever had. I wouldn't even call it a quattro formaggi pizza.Was it nasty? No. It just was not good at all.Basically cheese pizza with tomato sauce.. and then they threw pieces of gorgonzola cheese and something else.Quattro formaggi pizza does require some skill to learn how to get the perfect balance in flavor. Unfortunately, this place did not have that skill.On top of that, the sauce was really mediocre and the crust was definitely not fresh. It seemed old.Maybe the other pizzas are good.But for me, this place really did not impress. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money for me.

My husband and I came here for a night out together. The atmosphere was so cozy. The food was amazing. We had the best service from Jen, who was on top of everything! Horacio, the manager that was there that night, was super friendly and he personally came over to our table to explain all the desserts. (Got the profiteroles and they were so good.) I recommend this place for a quiet night out. Oh and the wine was pretty fairly priced (we ordered a lot that night).CAN’T WAIT TO COME BACK!
Our favorite establishment in Miami. Literally come here for the incredible service which feels like home. Bar service and cocktails are always a great start, and the service is always on point. Food is consistent and the host / owner is always welcoming and makes us feel special. He’s amazing. Whenever we have friends or family in town, this is our #1.
How should I put into words my experience at Piola? Firstly, I couldn't ask for a more perfect place...the restaurant itself: if you don't look out the window and see Miami outside, definitely you will feel right in Italy. Secondly, when we walked into Piola, we were greeted by a very courteous staff, asking and finding us a table in no time. Picking the food off the menu was extremely easy, and the options were great. After a few minutes in, the manager introduced himself with a very pleasant conversation, not to mention his attention to details and dedication to work. Can't wait to be back in Miami and pay a visit again!!!!
Great pizza for the price. Good value. Service was excellent, our waitress (I think her name was Isabela) was very friendly, took care of us and was very quick. Will definitely go back!
I have been going to Piola for years with my children. It is one of their favorite places. From the staff to the management they always make our outing a good one. The traditional recipes and quality products and friendly, casual atmosphere makes this a family favorite and a win, win for mom!!
Amazing attention. The sangria is wonderful. The pasta and the environment is incredible.
Overpriced. We wanted to get pizza and wanted to give this place a chance. Pizza is 8-10inches for $18. So we got 2 of them. Both pizzas tasted so bad we had to throw it out. We won't come back.
The worse experience i've ever had. The food is amazing but the service, not so much. I had gotten a soup a couple days ago that i really disliked They gave me the wrong one. SO I went back today to get a new one (whih was actually on the house) but the gentlemen HORACIO was so rude. Minestrone was what I initially ordered,.I ordered this all the time and this time they gave me a lentil soup , which is was incorrect yet fine because everyone makes mistakes. I am not a fan of the Lentil soup . Anyways, i mentionetd that the prior soup i had was nasty because of of this particuluar ingredient. Horacio (the manager) was extremly rude, lets acknowledge that. Then he proceeds to tell me that to never to say his food is nasty, but in the most meanest way. I have the right to say my opinion without getting thrown off. especially by managment, extremly unporofessional and just plain rude. I 'm sure if i was i sitting down with a couple of other people he wouldve handled the situation differently. Like i said, worse experience ever.The point of this bad review was not about the soup, but about the way i was treated by the manager, Horacio
