Good attention, good food and decent prices ?? One of my favorites
Save your money.I am 64 years old and I don't enjoy giving bad reviews.I had the bad pleasure of stopping at this Longhorn last evening.Always had good experiences, expected the same.The bottom line, they were not busy, maitre d was a little bit rude and tried to sit us at a table next to the bar, by the kitchen. Because he didn't want to walk to a nicer table. The waitress was nice enough but, our dinners were ice cold, the plates was very hot showing me that they sat underneath the heat lamp for 10 minutes.Cold steamed broccoli and cold French fries really set the stage. My NY Strip Steak was barley warm and my friends Hamburger was cold. Even the lovely loaf of warm bread was a little on the hard side.The waitress tried to make up for destroying our dinner with free coffee and dessert. I accepted the offer to be more frustrated. The coffee was terrible, the cheese cake was nasty and my friends ice cream had the consistency of soft ice cream re-refrigerated. It cost me $50. for a bad experience. Even the restroom was out of paper towels and the ceramic tile floors were slippery, because of poor cleaning practice.Longhorns are normally very nice but the manager of this one need to be retrained, fired or quit. Got here at 1:30 pm ( 4/27/22 ) only a few tables with ppl not busy. More then half an hour after we got our food 2 of the steaks we got were well burn. I return them immediately and after an hour we got our steaks again it wasn’t busy the managers “Maya and Dave” Never came even tho I asked for them. The server “J J” wasn’t efficient. Also I asked for water and never got my cup of water. I have gone to other Longhorn restaurants and I have never had a problem on any that I have gone until now that I came to the longhorn of 1630 NW 87th ave doral Florida 33172 and it was the worst!!! Got my receipt and smh I got charge for the steak!!! At least an apology would’ve been nice!
For being a chain restaurant, this place is the best around for consistency and quality food. I go here for work lunches all the time. Their lunch specials are some of the best options around. You have vary your meal from lite soup and salad to more filling steak and hearty sandwiches. The shrimp appetizer is a must order.
I just dined at this location. The service was normal as was the food. The reason for the 1 star, I would actually rate zero or negative, is because the waitress stole from my bag. I was having a late lunch with my parents and left after paying the bill. My mother went to the restroom and my father and I went to my car. We waited about 10 minutes for my mother to come out, and as she did, she had my bag in her hands. She gave me the bag and we went home. After I arrived home, I decided to go to the bank as I had $400 cash in my bag and wanted to deposit it in one of my accounts. I opened my bag and noticed the bills were moved around and no longer folded all in half. I started counting and I came up $60 short. I recounted and double checked my bag and immediately remembered that I had left my bag at the restaurant on the chair. Now, I was outside for almost 10 minutes, plenty of time for the waiitress to walk out and hand me my bag. She never reported it to the manager, as I called the manager and he stated that "none of my staff would do that" and he never knew that a bag was left. The waitress handed my bag to my mother as she was leaving the restroom. The waitress seems to be of Cuban descent, about 5'-4", short black hair and tattoos and her forearms. And the worst part of all this, she was not attentive, over charged for soups instead of adding to the entree and I left her a tip.
Friendly service. We were a group of 9, 5 were kids. Our waitress was very kind and engaging.Fried shrimp appetizer was a big win. Delicious. My toddler, who doesn't like eating much of anything, was scarfing them down. That's impressive.The kids' chicken tenders were good even though he was full by the time they came out. I ordered a side of broccoli for him that I ended up eating. I vouch for those, as well. It was flavorful. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and the toddler critic did not care for it.My LH burger was good.
No luck today 2-6-22 . Ask for the flo’s steak 9onz . Steak came over cook twice. I wasn’t available to eat . Manager want to fixed the problem giving me a dessert. I just waisted my time . My family also have an issue with there is order . Very disappointed . I can’t give an star . This restaurant just gone of my list
I had a steak and half rack baby back ribs combo with sweet baked potato... the ribs were excellent, my steak unfortunately very nervy but it was cooked medium rare just as I had asked potato was perfection!
First time there. The food was delicious. The staff was great and courteous.
I have been going to Longhorn for about 20 yrs. This was the worst porterhouse steak I have ever had. I don't even mind how thin cut it was but, it was slightly warm and felt either reheated or it had freezer burn I ordered medium and yes slightly pink inside it was also very very dry . As you can see I did give it a try. This is the first time that I don't leave a clean bone on the table. Longhorn have you lost your touch??? As for our server he RICARDO gets ***** excellent service, prompt, friendly, Courteous , and help with our special needs. Give that man a raise or make him manager. He help with my mother that recently has suffered a stroke and made her dinning experience a pleasure. Thank you again Ricardo.
