My friend ordered us lunch on their website. We went tot he restaurant 20 min after the food was supposed to be ready and when I got there it was not ready. The manager looked a small iPad and noticed that the food had not been sent to the kitchen. My friend came into the restaurant and told the manager that this was the 4th time she had ordered online and that once again they had an issue. The manager at no point apologized and instead had the restaurant owner come with the food. When we found out that she was the owner we expressed our discontent and all she said was in Spanish "don't come back! I have the right to refuse service". She sat down with a couple that were eating and we once again expressed the disappointment on our way out and she waived her hand and with a smile she once again said, "don't come back!". This has been the worst experience we both had ever encounter at any establishment. Never have I ever felt so disrespected and to think that LA Vegas Restaurant is a family ran restaurant.
First impression was it looked like a nice place to eat, we sat down right away and ordered our food as normal. The server brought us bread and drinks within a few mins and then the wait began. We sat for 35 mins without anyone coming to check on us and the restaurant was not super busy. There were about 7 empty tables around us. Finally the manager came to the table after one of us stood up to get some attention. She told us that our ticket was misplaced so they had only just started cooking our order and that it would be ready soon. We have 4 kids, 2 of which were 5years old were getting very hungry. Finally after waiting an hour our food arrived and I’m not sure if we were just super hungry by then but the food was good. The manager could’ve offered us more bread, chips or a discount on our bill since we waited so long but instead we were charged the full price including an 18% tip. This was very disappointing. Hopefully the management can read and learn from this so they can keep their customers as the food was good but service was terrible.
Not the place to eat a Cuban sandwich. Ordered medianoche expecting to be at least warm in the middle. Instead of putting ham and pork which is the point of the sandwich they fill it with absurd amount of cheese. Bread was soggy. Fries obviously cold. Asked for reheat, got a little attitude. Gratuity was included in check, not by choice.
Came here with a large group of people (Abbott 20 or more). We got to sit in the private area closed off by it's own doors. Although the privacy was nice, the area had such a prominent echo that it made it very loud with everyone having their own conversations. I felt like I had to shout to be heard by the person sitting right next to me.Great food, nice place. The weather was nice, so I just wish we could have sat outside instead to avoid the echo issue.
The black beans and rice dish served with the dinner was amazing. All the dishes we ordered did not disappoint. We were a little reluctant to dine here at first due to very little people in the restaurant compared to the surrounding restaurants. We were happy we chose to eat here. Would definitely dine here again.
Today I tried the palomilla steak with a side of yuka and it was amazing. I come here all the time all the staff always do a good job of taking care of my group from the entrance to the end of our experience there. I always ask for Betty to attend my table since she also knows how to bartend and make phenomenal drinks. She always do a great job with staff when I take them out to eat. #NowYouKnow
Great Customer Service. Came from Kentucky missing my cuban roots and it was great visiting here. Awesome flavors , unique dishes and also special thanks to Ailedys for being so nice and help us out to make a pleasant experience in La Vegas in Doral. Thank you!
Omgeeeeee! This food was absolutely amazing! So we'll priced, the food off the charts! The service was incredible!! This is a must eat at place if you love Cuban food!
