My husband’s family loves cake more than anything, and they LOVED our wedding cake!!! We did a cake tasting at Edda’s to choose our flavors (chocolate and marble). The staff was friendly and professional, the process was simple, and the prices were reasonable. They also made us a gluten-free cake for our guests who are allergic to gluten! The cake came on time, looked beautiful on our wedding day, and it was delicious!!! We highly recommend Edda’s Cake Designs!!
Edda’s cake is the best!!! Have been a customer since my wedding back in 2002!!! And 20 years later they never disappoint!!! I was so sad when they closed the Pembroke Pines location… but the drive to Doral is definitely worth it!
Absolutely beautiful, moist and delicious cake, and very friendly and great service. They took our order one day and had it ready the next. We will definitely use them again.

They allowed us to come on multiple tastings as we had our wedding pushed back a year due to Covid. The cake came out exactly how we wanted it and it looked fantastic. Last year I got a cake from Edda Doral Location and they did Amazing, they communicated with me showed me examples of how my cake would look like based off what I explained them and they send me an email with pricing, amazing costumer service and I said to myself to always come back for cakes.This year I was trying to order two cakes as I had such an amazing experience last this but this year it completely change for the worst. Costumer service does not listen to you and even if you’re trying to ask them questions they do not want to help at all and just give attitude. What a disappointment as I had the best expectations to continue requesting cakes here.
If I could give a zero star I would. I placed an order for my husband birthday they took the order wrong so I called to tell them and all they said I can refund the difference on the favor which it was $10. The girl that takes the orders is the worst person taking orders and answering the phones. Will never order from here.
My family has been ordering cakes for years. Their prices have increased exponentially and their service has equally decreased exponentially. It takes multiple phone calls to get a hold of them, when you finally do they place you on hold and eventually hang up. I ordered a cake back in December and it it’s 20% cake and 80% frosting… They put so much frosting the cake does not hold its shape and becomes lopsided. For the pricing I expect the cake to hold its shape… I decided to give them another chance recently cause the flavor is there.. Same issue, a lopsided overpriced cake with dismal service.
I've been eating Edda's cake forever. Over 18 years. They are a Miami staple. I was obsessed for many years when I was a teenager. The only cake I would eat. It was nice to see this location was still open. I went for a slice of cake but walked out with cupcakes. They were delish, i shared with my little dog ? as well.
I've been a loyal customer of Edda's Pembroke Pines location for over 4 years, but unfortunately that location closed. So I decided to give the Doral location a try, which turned out to be a huge mistake. I called them on Wednesday morning and spoke to Madeline to order a specialty naked cake with decorations for Saturday evening, which she said was no problem. I immediately emailed her the photos of what I wanted and asked her to call me back to go over everything. She did not call back. So I tried calling the next day, but couldn't get through. I then sent another email asking her again to call me and noting I wasn't able to get through on their phones. Still no call back. I was finally able to get through that afternoon, but when I spoke to Madeline (who said she's the manager) she said in an arrogant tone that it was too late to order a specialty naked cake with decorations and said they don't call back customers because they receive too many emails. Then she said she could do a deluxe naked cake, but when I proceeded to give her my info the line conveniently disconnected. I immediately called back many times, but they never answered. Thankfully, I was able to find a much more reputable and professional baker to complete the cake and even deliver. I wish I had never waisted my time with this Edda's Doral location!
