we came for an early lunch when the restaurant was just beginning to open so the atmosphere was quiet. The server was very sweet and attentive. The food was delicious but the drinks are lacking. Would return for the food.
We found this gem on the Miami spice menu, and decided to check it out while we were in the area. Very very happy we did, we ended getting there party of 2 which then turned into party of 8! The service was great, the food was amazing! We had the so much fun, everything we ordered sushi, apps, noodles, tempura and the fried cheesecake were delicious! I will definitely making this one of our spots when we are in the area!
This place it is not what used to be. Prices went up and portions went down. Wooden table was sticky . There is not fish market any more.
Very loud, cool place, need a few visitâs to figure out the menu
Super nice! Love the food. So unique!!!
They serve water from glass bottles - when we requested cold water, they seemed caught off- guard. Then they gave us 1 glass of ice? Oysters were not freshly shucked and the abductor muscle was not released from the bottom shell, making them difficult to eat. We had to scrape them off with the demitasse spoon, the only utensil, besides chopsticks, that were provided
Had been to their primary location in Orlando recently and was looking forward to this one. Disappointed however. There was no question on the Orlando one but this one in Miami just seemed to be an afterthought by the owners. Nowhere near same. Thankfully our server, Angela, was terrific. Did like the Shishito peppers, and the grilled octopus clay pot. Not much more. The Hamachi Crudo was ok but way overpriced considering just ok. The Mango Tango Roll barely had any salmon inside, practically invisible. The Sake selections way more limited than Orlando's site. And worse served room temperature so being in Miami in June, you can imagine. Additionally, no one minding the bar inventory. Only had 2 listed under the "Rich & Earthy" or dry category, and were out of the larger bottles, only 4 of the smaller ones, besides not chilling them. Think the owners missed on the location since it was Saturday evening and rather sparse, and, perhaps because of everything else as well. No reason to return either unfortunately as was hoping to really like.
To be honest, the food was very underwhelming. We were so excited to try this place because the pictures are so beautiful and the overall aesthetic and vibe did not disappoint. The food, however, doesnât match the cool vibe an ambiance of this place. The happy hour appetizers were ok - The gyozas were our favorite but everything was very basic. Nothing had a special touch where we could say it was unique to this restaurant. I had read some good reviews about the Branzino and the Short Rib so we ordered those too. We ended up sending the Branzino back because it was way too seasoned and so disappointing. The short rib was good though. The drinks were the best part of our meal so if youâre looking for just a happy hour spot to have some good cocktails & pick on a few bites, this could be for you.
We returned to dragonfly only to find many of our favorites have been removed from the menu ⦠but all In all We enjoyed our time there
This was our first time in this restaurant. The drinks were delicious as well as the sushi. The fried cheesecake with guava sauce was shareable and worth it. Our waitress was very nice as well.
